UK Paranoia ~ Hilarity,...at the highest level.

A Russian,..eh? Must be a spy! UK military media accuses Russian reporter of snooping.

There seems to be no sign of Russophobia abating in the UK, as the British Army has issued a warning against talking to a Russian journalist,...

who was doing exactly what many other journalists were doing: Reporting on a cyber warfare facility.

The British Army has issued a top-level security alert to all its bases across the UK, warning soldiers that they should by no means engage in any conversations...

with a certain Russian journalist, should one happen to approach near any military facility.

The UK Bureau chief of Russian Channel 1, Timur Siraziev Russia's Channel 1

The “official-sensitive” document obtained by the Daily Mail also advised members of the military to call the nearest police department “ASAP” to deal with such a “threat.”

For once I agree with you, TB. It's hilarious. But I suspect it is just part of the ongoing rhetoric/war of words/media spin being played by both sides.

Don't be daft - the UK love Russians and all their money they flood the country with - same as they do with the Clinton Foundation and Trumpet. It's a very simple designated enemy routine The State is playing in both countries using the threat of a supposed enemy to remove freedoms, pass dodgy laws, cover up real information of interest etc.

Ditto, they haven't figured out which is the real enemy and Russia seems to be favoured right now. Top of my threat list against the UK is its own leaders; come the revolution they'll be gone, and hopefully we'll have someone other than Corbyn to pick up the pieces.

Not far off that now. At the minute the hard yards are being done by the food banks which is keeping nurses and the like fed. I do a lot of work for the local food bank, averaging 30-50 kilos of food donated to them each week, and in a very affluent rural area of the UK, it is fucking disgusting the stories you hear, often from people actually working, or people with a disability who can not work. The UK is shit - utterly heartless and the people are deceiving themselves.

Over recent years those I know in the UK, mostly educated and professionals, keep using the word hope, hope this and hope that, and I don't have the heart to tell them hope is not a plan but a last resort.

So, no positive thoughts for the future, with or without Brexit.

Yep. It's to be safe and not take the "middle of the road" stance!

    Harry.. .

    Forum: World News

The forum for posting news events from all over the world, ie America, Australia, Africa, Europe and any where else that isn't in Asia.

Robust discussion is allowed, but posters should stay on topic and refrain from personal attacks.

... then it wouldn't be a revolution. Any revolution that keeps in place the monarchy, the civil service, parliament, Lords, banking system, etc is not a revolution, but a fake one to settle the masses whilst business continues as usual.
