    The Kruger game estate has a long border fence with Mozambique and for decades Mozambique poachers with AKs have crossed over to poach.
    Plenty of economic refugees cross over to walk over to Johannesburg hopefully but lions have eaten them as well. They just don't make the headlines.

    I wanna do a safari in Africa at some point.

    The biggest killer is Man then hippos , probably crocs and elephant next, Lions , ^ you'll be okay.

    ^Do or did you live there in Africa? A place on my list. I've been researching safaris, but they are quite expensive..

    I follow a few African groups on the net, I like diversity and as they speak mostly English it's easy to follow their threads.
    Yes Safaris are bloody expensive , especially at private game lodges. Have a look at the Kruger Park rates as they are run by a Parks board.

    ^right, in the savanna, but they are still known as the 'Kings of the Jungle', even if it is a misnomer.
