    The White Man’s Burden
    by Rudyard Kipling

Take up the White Man’s burden–
Send forth the best ye breed–
Go, bind your sons to exile
    To serve your captives’ need;
    To wait, in heavy harness,
    On fluttered folk and wild–
    Your new-caught sullen peoples,
    Half devil and half child.

Take up the White Man’s burden–
    In patience to abide,
To veil the threat of terror
    And check the show of pride;
    By open speech and simple,
    An hundred times made plain,
    To seek another’s profit
    And work another’s gain.

Take up the White Man’s burden–
    The savage wars of peace–
Fill full the mouth of Famine,
    And bid the sickness cease;
And when your goal is nearest
    (The end for others sought)
    Watch sloth and heathen folly
Bring all your hope to nought.

Take up the White Man’s burden–
    No iron rule of kings,
But toil of serf and sweeper–
    The tale of common things.
The ports ye shall not enter,
The roads ye shall not tread,
Go, make them with your living
And mark them with your dead.

Take up the White Man’s burden,
    And reap his old reward–
The blame of those ye better
The hate of those ye guard–
The cry of hosts ye humour
    (Ah, slowly!) toward the light:–
“Why brought ye us from bondage,
    Our loved Egyptian night?”

Take up the White Man’s burden–
Ye dare not stoop to less–
Nor call too loud on Freedom
    To cloak your weariness.
By all ye will or whisper,
By all ye leave or do,
    The silent sullen peoples
Shall weigh your God and you.

Take up the White Man’s burden!
    Have done with childish days–
    The lightly-proffered laurel,
    The easy ungrudged praise:
Comes now, to search your manhood
    Through all the thankless years,
    Cold, edged with dear-bought wisdom,
    The judgment of your peers.

Ah Harry is back with his usual insults and ignorance. For someone who calls himself British you sure do a lot of defending of US propaganda.

You dont seem to realise that Russia is the designated enemy and everything possible is twisted around to feed to the population of the US and the world in order the enemy status is maintained. Words like 'invaded', 'annexed' and sanctions regarding Crimea are all part of that.

The US establishment learned a lesson from Vietnam, unfortunately it is the wrong lesson, they learned that the people of the country must be kept in a state of hate against the designated enemy and must be 'conditioned' to believe whatever is fed to them to keep that hate alive so that never again would there be protests like there were against the Vietnam War. You Harry are a product of that 'conditioning" for conclusive proof see your posts on the Putin topic.

What they should have learned was to keep out of other peoples business and countries.

As this is about US interfering in other countries check out how they got hold of and treated Puerto Rico:

Puerto Rico?s Complicated History with the United States - History in the Headlines

Then check out how they annexed Hawaii:

    https://www.theguardian.com/notesand...,-2188,00.html

There are similar stories for the other US overseas territories.

That was along time ago they bleat, but things have not changed for instance Russia did not invade Afghanistan they went there to support the then communist government who were being attacked by a group of Islamist factions calling themselves the Mujahideen (holy or jihad warriors) who were being armed and encouraged by the CIA before Russia moved in. After Russia moved in to help put down the Mujahideen the weapons really flowed not just small arms but right up to anti-aircraft missiles.

Once Russia left the Mujahideed broke up into factions including the Taliban and Al'Qaeda and fought among themselves for control. This was the cue for the US to step in and install a puppet government (democratically of course) which pissed off the Taliban and Al'Qaeda with the Taliban still fighting the US while Al'Qaeda took a different approach now known as 9/11.

Then we can move on to Korea where the lack of a peace treaty has created the monster we see today, another manufactured enemy.

And so on to Iraq which facilitated the rise of ISIS.

Then Libya and the refugee crisis that has caused.

And Syria where the US backed rebel groups attempting to take over the countries government which has caused and is still causing more death and destruction as well as contributing to the refugee crisis.

There are few times that the US has interveind in other countries that have not turned to death and destruction but great for the weapons industry.

What the fuck does any of that have to do with the fact that you're too fucking dumb to realise that Putin annexed the Crimea illegally?

Why waste your time going off at a pointless tangent, arsehole?

    Man, you're priceless.

You say RT is biased, and to prove your point you post a clip from Vice News.

    What are your criteria, Shaggy?

Because when it comes to telling the truth, Vice News is exponentially more honest than RT, even if its target audience is millennials.

Or don't you like that fact that they actually filmed Russian troops in Crimea when your hero was lying through his fucking teeth about it (Again)?
