It's really (to me) one of the most hypocritical achievements of the (few) corners of the world I'm intimate with...

Publicly (not really), officially and on paper, it's the most fundamentally, righteous, god-fearing, hateful stance any country could ever promulgate.

Privately, factually and in reality, the level of acceptance re: homersexual & lezzy behavior borders on the enlightened.

Portraying the ultimate stance against gayness (and promiscuity) yet privately awash with hedonistic behaviorism and carefree exploits that abandon every last rule.

It's hard for me to understand why any promiscuous gay man would leave Saudi (or other Arab nations). It's their "Pattaya" without the price and much more variety.

Sorry if I posted this....if so, it was long ago.

I got reacquainted with an old Queen in Khobar several years back. We had met in Korea another lifetime ago.

So, she takes me to the "Queens dinner" where 5 of em' met once a month. Standard 'merkin restaurant such as Applebees or TGIF where they dined, gossiped, flirted with the lil' gay servers, got caught up on work talk, etc. All had top notch jobs. All pranced down the street w/o reserve.

Then we toured her neighborhood.

"Good," she says. "I'm gonna' tell them all you're my roomie. I have to tell them there's a straight guy around, so they don't come banging on my door at all hours."

Turns out she was blowing and banging half the fucking block!!

I had questions. Pertinent questions, like: "Do the other queens infringe on your territory?"

"Oh, NO honey. If that happened....ooooo hooo! There'd be a major cat fight. No. We stay far away from each others' blocks."

"Aren't you afraid that ...ya know...some righteous fugger down there in the furniture store is gonna' figure things out and report you?"

"Let me tell ya somethin.' If any muttawa, officer or anyone else of authority comes to this door, I'll just get down on my knees and he'll be back in a week for more."

I ran outta' questions.

She's still there. Villa in one of the ultimate compounds in the Eastern Province and two apartments.
