I've seen that sentiment expressed a few times now.

I find it interesting that those posting it find it necessary to post an obligatory 'I don't condone it BUT...' before going on to basically condone and justify an attack on people they assume to be complicit in terrorism, just because.

Would it surprise them to learn that's the same Us vs. Them rationale that Muslim fanatics employ also.

So muslims can also be irrational and panicky. Should fit in well here.

And now it seems an infidel got in the mix.

If so, I wonder where it ends?
It never will as long as the quran and hadith exist.

Van driver arrested on suspicion of attempted murder as death outside Finsbury Park mosque may not be linked

Metropolitan Police say the man who died was already receiving first aid from members of the public when the van incident began

Van driver arrested on suspicion of attempted murder as death outside Finsbury Park mosque may not be linked - Mirror Online

Interesting. Guy arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Suppose ok for now as clearly the guy drove a van into a crowd with intent to kill them. If determined the guy who died was the result of the van running over him then reckon will be murder rather than attempted murder.

Then you should know that unless the mens rea clearly shows specific intention he can't be charged with either.

I've always loved the books but I watched an episode of the TV series recently and it has aged very badly. I'm in the first year of an LLB right now, nothing to do with Rumpole though - more something to keep my mind working as I approach late middle-age.

Criminal, Contract and Torts, Equity, Law in British Society (History and Constitutional). I also selected a module in EU law but as I won't get there for 5 years (part-time degree) I don't know if that module will be replaced by something else.

I guess the attacker might have made more of a point had he struck years ago, when the hook was preaching outside the finsbury park Mosque, though he would have had to get passed abu hanzas police bodyguards first

Law wasn't a good choice - intellectually, it's humdrum and in terms of obtaining a degree it's one of the few in which intelligence is not challenged and one can simply remember facts, cases and judgements by rote and regurgitate as and when.
History might have been better because one can always argue something new according to a re-interpretation of the data which is never, ever complete - a letter unearthed in an archive can alter the entire game.
    Just saying.

Well I could swear that I had to argue on paper to substantiate my conclusions in almost every law degree question I answered. I didn't realise that there was some sort of answer which should have been memorised before I entered the examination hall. I have been a silly-billy. All that work too.

You argue like a 19 year old virgin after her first semester in some provincial uni no better than a tech college in drag.

CPS will charge as high as it wants. You can always come down the steps later on when you finally settle the indictment.

It's too bastard hot indoors .
I'm off out for a walk, maybe a swim/paddle in the North Sea

I'm not seeing any MSM/ police warnings about a backlash by the Muslims against the indigenous community as we always see in the reverse situation, but I fear they may be one, so
    wish me luck
