Further condemnation of DPRK by ameristanis Hindu in Chief.

US Mission to the UN Retweeted Nikki Haley‏Verified account @nikkihaley 9h9 hours ago

"We cut 90% of trade & 30% of oil. I have no problem kicking it to Gen. Mattis because I think he has plenty of options."

Full on war, war mode, life threatening fantasy?

US Mission to the UN‏Verified account @USUN 6h6 hours ago

The @UN Security Council is united in its condemnation of #NorthKorea's latest ballistic missile launch:
    http://bit.ly/2yejaJ1

Condemnation of a UN member failing to act as directed by a unanimous vote at the UNSC.

"“The Security Council stressed that all member states must fully, comprehensively and immediately implement all relevant Security Council Resolutions, in particular, Resolution 2375,” rotating president and Permanent Representative of Ethiopia, Tekeda Alemu reading out a joint statement following the emergency meeting."

Reinforced by the UNSC Rotating President."During the discussions, the Americans called on Moscow and Beijing “to implement the sanctions part of Resolution 2375 as soon as possible,” the Russian diplomat said.“We said that we are a responsible member of the international community and that we honestly implement the resolutions we adopt in the Security Council,” Nebenzia explained.

“But this resolution also provides for political measures that must also be carried out. That is why, we called upon our American and other partners to carry out political and diplomatic decisions, which are stipulated in the resolution,” the ambassador pointed out according to TASS.

Russia will consider the failure to implement these political and diplomatic steps “as disobeying the resolution, [and] incomplete implementation of it,” the diplomat underlined."

"At the end of the closed-door meeting, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, insisted that the reciprocal threats and warmongering rhetoric emanating from Washington and Pyongyang must cease in order to defuse tensions on the peninsula."

    https://www.rt.com/news/403510-unsc-...korea-missile/

The Russian UNSC Ambassador points out that sanctions are being implemented, NOW, but the political and diplomatic steps are being replaced with calls, for the illegal invasion of a sovereign country, from ameristan, ROK and Japan.

Who is breaking the UNSC resolution?

How NBA star Dennis Rodman came to stand between the world and nuclear war
It says a lot about the world that the only man on good terms with both Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un is a former basketball player
    Hunter Felt
    Thursday 14 September 201

2017 has become the year when absurd jokes appear to be coming true. When Dennis Rodman made his first trip to North Korea back in 2013, it was amusing to imagine the eccentric NBA legend acting as the United States’ de facto ambassador to the country. The idea was as preposterous as Donald Trump somehow being elected president.

It sounds surreal, but with tensions rising between the two countries thanks to North Korea’s growing nuclear weapons program, there’s a very real possibility that Rodman, a man who once married himself, ends up playing a key role in preventing armageddon. Rodman himself certainly believes he will. In an interview with Good Morning Britain, the five-time NBA champion offered to “straighten things out” between Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, emphasizing that he considers both men friends.

Rodman, along with a group of journalists from Vice, first visited North Korea in 2013 after an invitation from Kim. It turns out that the North Korean leader grew up a fan of Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls teams from the 1990s. Rodman, one of the best defensive players of the era, was a key figure on those teams, although ultimately he received far more attention for his (literally) colorful antics than his formidable basketball skills.

Oddly enough, all of these traits might make Rodman the perfect ambassador to North Korea. These are characteristics he shares with both Trump and Kim, which could go a long way to explaining how he became the only high profile individual with a direct line to both leaders.
    ----

What makes the current situation between the United States and North Korea so unpredictable is that it’s a nuclear standoff without a rational actor on either side. No one has a realistic idea of how to deal with North Korea’s growing nuclear program, every option seems to either be ineffectual or potentially catastrophic. It’s also obvious that the Trump administration seems far more open to using nuclear weapons than any of the previous ones. There’s no obvious solution.

Is it likely that a troubled basketball legend/terrible actor/reality show star could actually end up helping to avert a nuclear war? Probably not. It is worth giving him a shot? Well, why not? Could it just be magical thinking? Well yes, but considering everything that has happened in the last year, it’s foolish to rule out any event, no matter how preposterous.

China entities spur N. Korea’s rapid leap in missile mastery

SEOUL--North Korea's rapid leap in its ballistic missile and nuclear weapons technology is apparently due to support provided by entities based in China.

According to a source with deep insights into trade between North Korea and China, a Chinese private-sector company smuggled materials needed to develop missiles to North Korea sometime in April.

In particular, high-grade tungsten and aluminum alloy was sent by the Chinese company to North Korea's central science, technology and trade company.

It was not clear what volume of materials was sent or the course used to smuggle them.

The Chinese company falsified documents and said the materials being sent were tools for expressway construction. The materials were shipped to North Korea.

"It is possible that Chinese government officials turned a blind eye to the transaction," the source said.

Tungsten is used in projectiles because its hardness allows it to penetrate most materials. Aluminum alloy is also strong and light, making it suitable for missile development.

North Korea in the past imported aluminum alloy from Russia for use in constructing centrifuges needed to enrich uranium.

According to a South Korean defense expert who tracks trends in North Korea, a dozen or so companies in China have cooperated with North Korea's nuclear weapons and missile development through trade links. In September 2016, the U.S. government slapped sanctions on one of those companies, the Liaoning Hongxiang Group.

In August 2011, a company with links to the Chinese military exported four large vehicles to North Korea for use in transporting and launching ballistic missiles. At that time, China explained that the vehicles were to be used for transporting lumber.

The source also said that North Korea began hacking companies that belonged to the defense industries of Japan, the United States and South Korea since the late 1990s to obtain valuable technological information.

About five years ago, Pyongyang gained access to sensitive information in the United States related to global positioning systems. The upshot of that was a sudden improvement in North Korea's inertial navigation equipment that ensures missiles follow a predetermined trajectory.

The new ballistic missile that North Korea successfully developed in March used an engine that experts said was very similar to one made in Ukraine.

In light of Pyongyang's moves, the United States began bolstering the strength of the CIA unit in charge of North Korea. In May 2017, a new Korea mission center was established to oversee North Korea intelligence, with a focus on dealing with the threat posed by its nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.

According to a source with good U.S.-South Korea contacts, the CIA expanded its staff in South Korea by about 20 from mid-August. The agents are based at U.S. military bases, and they are gathering information about North Korea's nuclear weapons and missile development programs from South Korean government officials and North Korean defectors.

The move is based on lessons learned from past failures in U.S. intelligence strategy, according to Jun Ok-hyun, a former deputy director of the South Korean National Intelligence Service.

"If intelligence is available ahead of time, it will be possible to find a means for preventing missile development," Jun said.

I'm sure the ameristanis will extract the truth they "need" from another "intelligence agency" and it's selection of DPRK "defectors".

Tough week ahead. Who will lite the fuse ?

North Korea’s deputy ambassador to the United Nations warned that “nuclear war can break out at any moment,” as the crisis on the Korean Peninsula “has reached the touch-and-go point.”

Kim In-ryong told the U.N. general assembly’s disarmament committee Monday that his country is the only nation that has been subject to “such an extreme and direct nuclear threat” from the United States since the 1970s.
Pyongyang has the right to possess nuclear weapons to defend itself, he said.

U.S. and Japanese diplomats agreed Tuesday to maximize pressure on North Korea to resolve tensions over its nuclear program.
U.S. Undersecretary of State John Sullivan met his Japanese counterpart, Shinsuke Sugiyama, and told reporters that the State Department is still focusing on diplomacy to eventually denuclearize the Korean Peninsula.

“We must, however, with our allies in Japan and South Korea and elsewhere, be prepared for the worst should diplomacy fail,” he said.
He said the U.S. must be prepared to defend itself and its allies.

North Korea’s despotic leader Kim Jong-un could be targeted in a ‘decapitation’ operation by US special forces.

The specialist US Navy Seals are believed to be on board a submarine currently docked in South Korea, according to a Seoul-based news agency.

They claim the USS Michigan in the port of Busan boasts silos for mini-submarines used in covert missions.
These submarines would be used to secretly transport a small squad of trained killers into enemy territory to carry out assassinations - in this case, up the Taedong River to Pyongyang to kill Kim.

Somewhat misleading as the ameristan and it's vassals weapons and troops/sailors/airmen are not displayed. Along with it's chemical and biological weapons which the treaty bound "defenders" were scheduled to destroy due to another treaty signed but but not fulfilled. They cannot afford to actually do it, allegedly.

The ameristanis top diplomat suggest they, according to Singapore press, are not out for war, just making impossible demands. Sounds about right, nothing changes from the fading ineffective empire.

The ameristani top warmonger threatens "any use" of nuclear weapons would met with .........

"US Defense Secretary James Mattis warned Pyongyang on Friday that any use of nuclear weapons by North Korea would be met with an overwhelming response.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "The US does not accept a nuclear North Korea… Make no mistake, any attack on the US or our allies will be defeated. Any use of nuclear weapons by the North will be met with a massive military response, effective and overwhelming, " he said during a speech in Seoul."

One wonders if other nuclear armed countries and the UNSC are in agreement and have passed a resolution, either in their parliaments or at UN headquarters, with that statement?

At least 200 feared dead after North Korean nuclear test site tunnel collapses: report

    BY JESSE JOHNSON
    STAFF WRITER
    OCT 31, 2017

More than 200 people were believed to have died in North Korea when an underground tunnel at the country’s main nuclear test site collapsed last month after its sixth and most powerful atomic test, a report said Tuesday.

The tunnel at the Punggye-ri test site was undergoing construction sometime around Sept. 10, days after the North set off the Sept. 3 nuclear explosion, when some 100 workers were involved in an initial collapse, Japan’s TV Asahi reported, quoting unnamed sources in the isolated country. After rescuers were sent in, a separate collapse left at least 100 more feared dead.

The Japan Times could not confirm the veracity of the report, but North Korea rarely acknowledges major accidents, and any incident involving the country’s ever-improving nuclear program would likely be off-limits for state-run media.

The North’s sixth test — which Tokyo estimated had an explosive yield of 160 kilotons, or more than 10 times the size of the Hiroshima bomb — was believed to have triggered the collapse.

On Monday, South Korea’s weather agency, the Korea Meteorological Administration, told a parliamentary hearing that another nuclear blast could trigger a collapse at the mountainous test site spurring a dangerous leak of radioactive materials.

Experts have warned that the nuclear-armed country’s six atomic tests at the site have destabilized the area, and that it may not be usable for future tests. Others, however, including the North Korea-watching 38 North website, have said that its abandonment for nuclear testing should not be expected.

“Even in the face of what has been dubbed ‘Tired Mountain Syndrome,’ abandonment of the site for nuclear testing should not be expected,” it said in an Oct. 17 analysis, referring to a condition in which underground nuclear testing fractures and weakens rock, increasing permeability and the risk of radioactive contamination into the environment.

“Historical precedent, combined with the presence of two other, as yet unused tunnel complexes within the test site, leads us to conclude that there is no valid reason to assume that the Punggye-ri test site is unable to contain additional underground nuclear tests,” the report went on.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has called his country’s nuclear weapons program a “treasured sword” meant to protect it from aggression. He has vowed never to give it up, despite calls for the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

U.S. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have, meanwhile, ratcheted up a program of “maximum pressure” meant to bring the recalcitrant leader to the negotiating table on their terms

    Self defence.

If your enemy has the capability of using nuclear weapons, and the will to use them, it's a no brainer.

It's a bit like if one of those seppo nutters walks into a room and opens up with an assault rifle. Are you going to wait until he shoots you to return fire?

Have you proof the DPRK has any intent to attack ameristan? (walks) Both are shouting from afar.
You have proof the DPRK has a missile system that can hit ameristan? (an assault rifle) So far, a possibly unarmed, missile has made it to the east of Japan.
You have proof the DPRK has a nuclear weapon, that can be delivered by them? (walks into a room) Conjecture as to both the existence and deliverability of the weapon are questionable.

But hey there are plenty who would like to see the DPRK glassed. Are they aware that some, that do have the weapons systems and are able to accurately deliver them, may consider any attack in the region as war and thus retaliate on the territories of unexceptional ameristan and it's unexceptional vassals?

I suspect none of the three condition illustrated in your example are met.

WTF are you waffling on about.

The premise was simply the hypothetical that North Korea launches a nuclear weapon at someone.

If it does, flatten it. (I don't care who does it, as long as someone does).

Then it won't be able to launch another.

Are you a bit fucking thick?
