The issue is Trump's hypersensitivity. He takes all these things as a personal affront to his legitimacy instead of dealing with them seriously and presidentially. Russia's meddling in US elections is a serious issue and needs to be examined and not dealt with dismissively to protect his fragile ego. Russia is an enemy, anyone who thinks otherwise is very naive.

Trump has significant business interests in Russia. He knows that anything he says that upsets Putin will be detrimental to them.

Now he says he's putting off any announcement about his business interests until January.

The bloke is so fucking predictable, and will probably be thrown out sharpish. The GOP know Pence would never have got elected as President, but they'd wank themselves silly if they could get him in the chair.

None of it is speculation. Putin wanted Trump in power because he can walk all over him.

Obama didn't go into Syria because it would have probably meant another Iraq or Afghanistan, and because Russia would have happily got embroiled to try and embarrass him - imagine a "Syrian" SAM shooting down an US aircraft.

Same with Crimea, is it America's job to go in and start a war with Russia over what is essentially European territory? No. But he put sanctions on Putin and his cronies and let's see how quickly Trump lifts those.
