^ The element of 'foreigners' coming into the community and causing violence does taint one's opinion against them. I'm sure there are many lovely Somalians, great people, but my experiences of them in London are very negative, sorry if that makes me sound racist, but it's my life experiences. As I stated below, if the UK keeps bringing in refugees from war zones what do they expect is gonna happen?

I try to abide by the laws, so I'm not gonna give my one day travel card to some bloke who is just aiming to sell it; I'd be aiding and abetting a crime; ticket prices would be driven up if everyone did this, etc.

Regarding the parking ticket, it's similar, but a bit different. That space has been sold already for an hour, so I'd probably give my ticket to somebody else - as the space has already been paid for. I realize some folks won't see a consistency in these two areas; I'm not claiming to be consistent...
In this case, was the Somali guy born in Norway then? That's what 'Somali decent' implies. I used to argue this years ago back in the UK: bringing folks into the UK who were bought up in war zones was a terrible idea. Just like sending soldiers around the world into war zones then bringing them back to the UK and kicking them out of the army was always gonna be a disaster too. I don't know the details of this case, but in general terms, have ex-soldiers and folks from war zones strolling around the UK is just disasters waiting to happen; and most folks who've spend time in war zones must suffer mental distress that affects their 'normal' life. Thus, when is the UK gonna stop going around the world warring and stop taking refugees from war zones in???
Increasingly, I don't think we do have a duty to help these refugees; I don't want anybody from a war zone brought into the UK. But, we have a duty not to invade their country, cause war and generally make people's lives in other parts of the globe shite which we are constantly doing...
