    Let's get one thing clear:
Visa free travel is not the same as residence & work permits.

Err, just why do you think all muslims, irrespective of nationality, sect, intelligence, level of education, family commitments and a reasonable interest in Eastenders will be overcome by righteous, religious fanatical fervour and act like automata obeying some omnipotent central command when they are called to strike the infidel?

Tax, are you going fucking insane?

Is there some pressing, unresolved matter distracting you from pursuing your Yorkshire idyll?

The weather here has been glorious the last week, most unrainy season like with delightful evening breezes wafting through me nethers as I take my sundowner.

    Allah akhbar and salaam aleikum!

"In Germany, people can express their views openly, unlike Turkey," he told DW. "I'm not comfortable talking about this because I never know who is listening. Maybe there is secret police nearby. For this reason, we still don't have free speech like the Turks in Germany."
Turks mull free speech after pro-Erdogan rally in Cologne | Europe | DW.COM | 01.08.2016

The Turkish government has summoned Germany's charge d'affaires in Ankara to protest a court decision to ban Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan from addressing the Cologne rally via video link. The decision was condemned in Turkey - presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin called the ban a "violation of the freedom of expression and the right to free assembly".

for the same reason the majority of level headed, educated, family orientated germans, french, poles, belgians and dutch just sat back and let fanatics and invaders slaughter millions of jews during the second world war.

anyone who remonstrated and stood up to what was occurring was soon made an example of in the town square. it is childs play for the fanatic to silence the moderate.

    and salami aleikem to you,.

there, ive done it. i promised myself i never would, but now i have. a cheap sausage related comment.

Most people know that, but western leaders either don't or are betraying their people. Either way, what we have seen is just the beginning of the third major jihad against a Europe that has and continues to sponsor its own downfall, while most are still asleep.
You fucking deluded spanner, take your fucking racist paranoia shit elsewhere. More folk die in gardening accidents in Europe than in your stupid jihad shite.
No disrespect but nothing I've posted was racist or even deluded; if you bothered to read it, you may notice it was directed at the deluded.

Your example is an imaginative variation on the tedious theme, "you are more likely to be killed in a car accident, than jihad." While it makes the speaker or in this case you sound great, it is condescending and contributes nothing to a discussion, and the activity you chose is face palm wrong.

There are many reasons why people may be more fearful of jihad than car accidents or domestic violence, or in your case gardening. First, these are issues we can take steps to prevent, while there are also services and procedures to reduce the risks and deal with them when they do in any case happen. And quite important, it is rare for someone with a car to intentionally and randomly target people on the road, and when they do it is no accident.

By contrast, there is nothing anyone can do to avoid being involved in a jihad operation if they happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Shouting that we are more likely to die whilst gardening does nothing but make people feel good about not having a garden, even if you could manipulate statistics to prove that more people die cooking or skydiving than by jihad.

That said, I am not in the least paranoid that I may end up a victim of someone's jihad, and even if I were eating myself away with concern it doesn't affect the future of Europe, which is what I thought we were discussing.

Err, they didn't sit back and let it happen, there were 3 million fucking stormtroopers ensuring it was done. Where is this Jihadi army of death-dealing fanatics coming from?Through the little wormhole made by the great Iman in the sky transporting Saladin's warriors from their paradise dancing with 40 virgins to the present day through Paki Ali's curry takeaway in fucking Accrington?

You're going from bad to wurst!

Get a grip Tax and stop with this bollocks, already.

well, a few thousand of them have much of iraq and syria in their grip, and just a few dozen of them have wreaked havoc across europe lately.

the problems will come in 10 years time unless it is contained now.

anyway, you know i am right and you are just arguing for arguments sake, "hamming" it up for the crowd as usual.

They may not all get residence or work permits, but when it takes HMgov years and millions to rid the country of a convicted terrorist who eventually left more or less on his own accord, with Europe having similar lenient rules and humanitarian principles, there is little to zero chance of deporting, say, 100,000 or 7,000,000 legal entries that decided to overstay because life is oh so much easier in EU than back home.

And in time those determined to stay will either become legal or go off the radar.

Merkel knows what he would say, much the same as he did on an earlier visit and she really doesn't need that right now.

Still, Germany is a democracy with freedom of speech and other frills, right?

My dear Tax, we can go rind and rind as long as you wish but in the final analysis you know full well I'm right and you are completely wrong.

There is something troubling you, I can tell. It's the memoirs isn't it? Writer's block has fallen in the path of the muse, eh?. " Flying bridges to Maryland, or bust" was the title I believe but I think " The Tooth Fairy pulls another" has more mystery and bite.

    har, har.

your anti chickenhead rants do have some basis in fact but you have never been right about matters of any import. its alll wind and frothy piss. (cf. brexit.)

your school prefect demeanor and convoluted syntax may pull the wool over the eyes of some here, but the straight talkers amongst us can see right through it and the blinkers you choose to wear seem to prevent you from seeing the bigger picture.

what you need is an extended period away from the dross, flotsam and jetsam of that insignificant backwater of corrupt dictatorial civilisation that is thailand, and in particular your chosen bolthole pattaya, and a dose of the reality, vision and fulfilment that can only be experienced by living amongst decent civilised folk in an advanced democracy.

If you go to the Audi museum in Ingolstadt and take the tour around the plant you may well think this is true. However, over 25% of Ingolstadt (~35,000 people) work at Audi. There is also a large Turkish and Russian population for the unskilled and semi-skilled labour force.

Personally, I have never had a problem with the Turks or the Russians...

Yup exactly as will all the millions who follow via Jockland when they are back in the EU .

Mabe there is a kickstart here for the UK post brexit abortion the rebuilding of Hadrians wall , but updated to modern day tech with drones flying the length each day , ofcourse single mothers with children who need medical care would be waved through.

Dismantle Turkey and partition it between Greece, Armenia, and Kurdistan... and put serious military assets in Anatolia to make it crystal fucking clear what is and isn't going to happen in the Near East. That is the answer - a leader with a proper scrotum.
