More than twenty of Thailand’s most famous trans performers - ladyboys - will make their way Down Under next month as part of a dazzling showcase of music, glamour, sequins and feathers.
The Thailand Ladyboy Superstars Cabaret is on at the Big Top at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park for a limited season from May 26 to June 19.
Known for their flawless female impersonations and as the world’s most glamorous showgirls, these Thai beauty queens will wear more than 200 specially designed costumers, dripping with diamantes, rhinestones, feathers and sequins.
The show is a Las Vegas-style blend of cabaret, dance and comedy with lip-sync performances to classic and contemporary songs including tracks by Tina Turner, Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Lopez.
Show organiser Damian Syred said audiences will be in for a memorable performance.
“Audiences will be left in awe by the show, not to mention being infatuated with the many gender-straddling performers,” he said.
“The show is sexy, cheeky and new to Australia.”
