WILKES-BARRE TWP. — A Thailand resident was to be charged with retail theft after allegedly shoplifting several items at Kohl’s on Monday, township police said.
According to store security, a male, identified as Surpan Sirirattanaprasert, 45, had concealed four hats, three pairs of Docker’s pants, Puma pants, four pairs of Sonoma pants, and two Van Heusen shirts into a Kohl’s shopping bag and exited the store at about 3:55 p.m. without making payment for the items, at which time he was apprehended, police said.
Total value of the alleged theft is $632.96.
Police said they determined Sirirattanaprasert is currently residing in Wilkes-Barre.
The charge of retail theft will be filed against him at a later date, police said.
