You either liked his music or did not.........simple as that.

To say he had little musical or vocal ability means you have no idea about music and moreover just confirms that you do not know how difficult it is to create, produce and perform it.

No problem with that at all especially if you don't have a musical bone in your body which the majority of human beings do not.

Yes, writers such as Stock, Aitken and Waterman created artists out of absolutely nothing writing shitty little ditty's for mostly people without talent but to compare the classic product which Bowie produced for over 30 years is ridiculous.

I feel very happy most of the world's media has recognized Bowie's talents and given him a fitting going away present.

Bowie was a giant in the music industry, a genius.
The first record I ever bought as a young boy was the single Space Oddity
The second single I purchased was Kenny Rogers and the first Edition singing " Ruby don't take your love to town" - forgive me for that my musical taste was just developing.

Great song, but their are also other ways

Here is the original and ole blue eyes didn't write it either.
But I'am sure ole Dragonfly knew that

Thats's the difference of being a mere singer who just bla bla bla text get paid and knows jack shit about music.
David Bowie was a produce, singer, artist etc. Get the difference ?

    Happens to us all.
Whenever I see Kenney Rogers I always remember when he was a rocker in the late 60s. Before he dropped out of that scene, only to remerge a couple of years later as a country singer, he had a druggy hit called "Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In".
    Evolution is a wonderful thing.

    Great song !

It's hard to love a man whose legs are bent and paralyzed,
And the wants and needs of a woman your age really I realize,
But it won't be long, I've heard them say, until I'm not around,
Oh Ruby, don't take your love to town.
    but also sad.
