    Smile Uk frozen pensions talks

As UK pensioners know pensioners in inter alia Thailand Australia and Canada are frozen, while those in the Philipinnes are indexed linked .

The campaign to fix this had discussions with the minister

May seem remote to many yet imagine needing to survive on 1980s pension in 2020 prices.

Considering UK donates aid to BRICS like India it seems just to treat equally those who paid in the same wherever they live.

As more pensioners retire abroad the mother country remains cold expensive and over regulated.
Paying people a leaving bonus seems like a good idea to add a little relief to the NHS and the housing shortage.
In the absence of any help from the chancellor, your best bet may be the Philippines.

For Australians to Qualify for a state pension at 67 years of age to be paid abroad they must live unbroken in Australia for two years from age 55.

One would think the Government would just be glad to pay them the pension and fok the old coonts off out of the country.

The government want the pensioners to stay in uk ,as the whole economy is based around a pyramid housing scheme, and they help keep the housing shortage going/ and overcrowding going ,especially when they are being watched over immigration

The government also gets to practice being the boss i would not be surprised if they don't try and make pensioners work in charity shops to provide free labour for their charity boss mates.

The government want rid of pensioners. While there a few well off coffin dodgers like bankers and MPs, most of them are poor scroats, living in 3 bedroom council flats having their rent and council tax subsidised or bed blocking in NHS hospitals with free healthcare until death.
Give them a worldwide index linked pension and a free one way flight and most would be off like a shot to anywhere warm and cheap.
Its the only way to make way for working age refugees who can pay taxes instead of sponging off the system like OAPs.

I was chatting to me mother last night about a 90 year uncle and trying to find a home for him with care, a nice place as he was a black cabbie all his life and saved a lot. These places (granted t'was nice) want 1500 pounds per week, per week.

75,000 baht per week for a place to live, some food and carers around from time to time!
How do I post these pictures???

It'll probably not happen in my life so I don't care and don't trust any governemnt to do the right thing for ever.

What it will mean is as the value erodes poor penniless OAPs will return to live on the state.

Any enterprsing business if care could operate in warm climes perhaps not somewhere quite as corrupt as LOS, but Im sure many Oaps be happy to be warmer.

Yep if you can find an honest ! Thai partner maybe in their Minsitry of health or a reputable Dr/ Surgeon etc

It would bring medical tourism to the next level, and I'm sure many old bachelors would rather have a happy ending in the hands of local care than be tugged off to some drafty "home"

Ive suggested same to Dr Liam Fox who helped my mum at the vital, hospice time but HMG knows only to well how s seem to seep away in LOS

I may be wrong but los does not seem to sbare the same attitude to elderly care as tbe UK. Much more concern for personal care of seniors here instead of farming them out to care homes. Probably a generational thing, as both my grandmothers lived with us once their partners died.

Sorry its off topic but the bloody irony of it is , non EU's albeit British Citizens like my missus work in these places 60+ hours per week day + night for the minimum wage , and although they pay all their taxes etc they are not allowed to claim any benefits ,, not that she wants to

Shame the world aint flat and we all speak Eurabia , would be so much easier
