    What is it of late..??
    Airline mishaps/tragedies.

Like a virus - news attention.

Less, the crash off Taiwan yesterday hasn't even been discussed here yet.

France is wagging a war in this zone, it knows the area very well.

This makes me feel really safe when I will be flying from LAX to Bangkok in a little over two weeks via EVA Air. I think they have a fairly reasonable safety record at the moment and the odds are astronomical when one only flies about every 6 months or so.

I am trying to rationalize here. Like I could do anything if a plane was going down I was riding in.

I flew Eva Air in January back home, brilliant flight as only Eva Air can do it, the views over Afghanistan where stunning, loved looking out of the window and happily chatted to My little Son, that is a war zone down there, people are killing each other down there and We are flying over them.

No war zones between LAX and BKK that I am aware of and we miss the PI.

If you do find yourself plummeting towards the ground, you could post about it on Teodoor, if you have an iphone handy . Just to say your goodbyes and everything .
You will probably get a stronger signal the closer that you get to the ground .
But dont post the thread in the news section, because you probably wont have a link to the story and the thread will get deleted

I will keep all that in mind when I fly back to Thailand next month. Be assured, I will say my goodbyes rather quickly, no offense intended.

So, it should come to know surprise that they [frogs] dispatched fighter and lookout planes late yesterday - as they found the wreckage according to latest news reports.

    *edit*
I understand that U.N. peacekeeping sorts are helping the [still] colonializing French in their efforts to locate the downed aircraft. I guess it hasn't been located.....[????]

At the time of the flight, there were severe thunder storms that stretched for hundreds of kilometers. It is speculated that the plane went out of it's way to avoid the severe weather [which is standard] detouring into a fragile war zone.

    So it is.

    Has not been located yet.
