Husbands face seeking wives permission to view porn under new

Red-faced husbands face having an awkward ‘discussion’ with their partners if they wish to continue watching online porn in future, prime minister David Cameron has revealed.

The PM is backing a tough new pre-set filter which would be set-up by all internet service providers which will automatically block access to online pornography.

Speaking on BBC Radio Two’s The Jeremy Vine Show, Cameron said co-habiting adults wishing to view such content were ‘just going to have to have a discussion’ on whether to unblock it.

Cameron added: “All I’m saying is that as a parent and a politician, I think other parents would welcome the fact that when you sign up to an online account you get a prompt to think about whether you want an internet in your house where your children can sometimes accidentally or on purpose search for pornographic images.

“We are giving parents, I think, the opportunity to take a more positive role. We are not telling parents what to do; we are helping them with something they have asked us, in many ways, to do.”

By the end of 2014 the largest ISP’s will be required to ask 95 per cent all properties with an existing internet connection whether they wish to activate a ‘family friendly internet filter.’

Bit of a sensationalist twist in the reporting methinks.
So the person who registered the internet connection gets an email that says "Hey we now have a porn filter, click this link if you want to activate it"...

Yep, not the job of government to restrict what people want to watch from their own homes. Our glorious leader has not thought through the implications of this Big Brother event, and he's a foking Tory so let's not even imagine the carnage if the inbreds manage to slither in again.

Rings of the idiocy in New York under Bloomberg, where an underage girl can be prescribed contraceptive pills without her parents' knowledge or consent, because that's her human right, but cannot wash it down with a large soda.

Yes, David Cameron' the 'Family Values' PM who just happens to endorse the operation of super casino's in the UK together with televised promotion of gambling.

He's a sanctimonious public schoolboy who not so long ago drove home, leaving his daughter in a public house. Now, i'm not sure whether one can purchase a government backed filter for that type of indiscretion but perhaps it should be up for discussion in the House sooner than later.

Not long to go now David, another 18 months i believe. The British public will not miss you, despite what you might wish to believe.

Would wish to add that the subject i believe is more to do with easy access to 'lolita' sites which Google and Microsoft have recently agreed to action some form of restriction rather than the need for threatened government legislation. Now that would be a giant step in the right direction.

It is already possible to filter out pornography if you want. Poor David clearly doesn't understand this newfangled Interweb thingy.

Any chance of a filter that blocks politicians?

Why don't they allow the household admin to set up a password to start a porno session?

If I had kids I would not want porno in the house. I would spend a week downloading 20 Gigs of material onto a passworded HD and then block the porno, then when the kids are away for the weekend unblock it again.

    Too easy!

I've said before but the crap I read from other parts of the World often re-ignites my feeling of patriotism towards the USA. We're no where near that bad off and I don't think we ever will be.

PS If the old cow had not gained 2 kilos for every year they were married and actually fulfilled her so called wifely duties, few married men would want porno.

'Patriotism toward the USA' - I wouldn't actually go that far Bob.

Lets be honest, this latest squawk from our PM is a guy that doesn't look like he's got a decent shag in him. The last Conservative PM, John Major, claimed to have had an affair outside of marriage, but lets be honest, he didn't particularly look like a rabid stud did he, so nobody believed him.

When leaders give up their corrupt practises and start to represent their people, then issues of morality might possibly get a proper airing.

Has Cameron gone after the church? Has he gone after Murdoch? Has he gone after the bankers? etc: etc:

No, but he considers restricting porn to the masses of greater importance.

Get real David, put your own house in order first.
