OK I give up. I got about 3 words into that. Even the pictures and graphs didn't help.
So, is this basically the fuel breaking down and making energy, so there is virtually no bi-product?
I have the Thread
https://teakdoor.com/the-teakdoor-lou...gy-anyone.html (Cheap energy anyone?)
on that topic. Unfortunately it drowned in a few "Teak Door style" posts.
As Rossi provides the test objects and no one knows, what is inside it is unclear what really happens. It's likely not cold fusion but a reaction of Nickel to Copper with adding a slow Neutron. The neutron is produced by adding an electron to a hydrogen proton. Well that is a very rough explanation, I am not a physiscist. According to Rossi inside his device is powdered Nickel, doted with some hydrogen and some secret catalyst.
More likely it is a hoax, Rossi is no stranger to those.
However the test was quite extensive and seems to back up Rossis claims. There was a lot more energy produced than can be explained by any chemical reaction and by the electric power used.
The tests lasted 3 days. New tests over much longer periods are planned to show if that energy production holds up as claimed by Rossi.
Maybe that's because it is the simplified popular version. For a more detailed scientific view see the links in my thread.Originally Posted by pseudolus

The connection to Cold fusion comes from the Fleischmann/Pons experiment. Maybe they observed something after all but it was not Cold Fusion as they claimed.
They backed up their fusion claim with measuring Neutrons. But that was an error, there were no Neutrons but measuring Neutrons is tricky. I was lucky to have an assignment at the Berlin Hahn Meitner Institut at the time. They have some of the best expert physicists on Neutrons and were immediately sceptical, saying the Neutron measurements were likely false positive. I did not actually speak with those physicists, but I was at their computer center and the computer staff had talked to the physicists.
Nicolai Tesla....
Had this down a hundred years ago.
Supressed, covered up, and stolen.
