MP Margaret Moran escapes jail

This woman who scammed over £530000 in expenses has escaped jail and infact just about escaped everything as the poor thing is suffering from depression .


Now strangely enuf my younger brother earlier this year , who by the way is not only suffering from severe depression has an illness that can kill him literally in minutes ( if he does not get the right treatment quick enuf ) and I have been called from the hospital before now to say my goodbyes to him . Happened to have been over paid his benefits for a couple of years ( only a small amount i.e. in the hundreds )
was sent for trial ,, ended up with a fine of about 3 times the overpayment + payback the overpayment + costs and they wanted to jail him ,, until the court solicitor pointed out the serious of his illness , so they gave him a tag in his home for 6am till 6pm .


BTW as he cannot work he spends 3 days a week volunteering helping others ,, so he does his best .


No double standard here then
