  | Amity Treaty Update Sept 10, 2009 Sept 2009 , I have been in touch this past week w US Embassy Office Commercial Services. They advise companies are still being registered. several private attorneyso confirm but warns this could change at any time. Yes the treaty has expired but Thailand has been registering Amity Treaty companies since that time. HOwever, any new WTO rules may preclude it and yes, current Amity Co.s could be dissolved. OR .... ".... things could continue as are for next 3 years, Always remember , TiT " ( Amity Companies cannot circumvent foreigner land laws. )
