Sattahip is about 30kms from Pattaya and is mainly a naval town which is home to Thailands only Aircraft Carrier, it has a few nice beaches like Hat Nang Rum Beach and Sai Keaw Beach several Thai sea food restaurants and of course numerous Food Stalls, on the outskirts of Sattahip heading towards Ban Chang and Kilo Sip on the sea front you will find some small cheap bungalows for rent, heading back towards Pattaya and its wild nightlife are the more high end beach resorts such as Sunset Village

If you are driving from Pattaya to Sattahip there are many beaches that you can stop off at including Jomtien Beach with all its bars and restaurants, Hat Sai Torng Beach which has a nice Indian restaurant, or even Bang Saray Beach which has many Thai sea food restaurants on the piers including the Rim Had Restaurant and the Ruan Talay Restaurant, in Bang Saray town itself you will find a few bars aimed at tourists.
