    Danang nightlife recommendations?

Heading to Danang at the end of the month via Bangkok Airways. Can anyone recommend some good bars/pubs in town?

On another note, Air Asia starts flying to Danang via Don Muang in early June.

Looks like my question has set a world record for most views without a reply. I guess it also means there is no nightlife in Danang.

Sorry bhp. I was there last xmas ( done a thread on it) but having the handbrake and 2 nippers along I really didn't get to see much nightlife apart from a few beers with another poster and his wife. Not a lot of farangs around but I'm guessing if you spoke a bit of viet you could certainly get on with the fairer sex

There's a small blimp on my radar that I might make a move to Vietnam. Did you enjoy Nah Trang and Da Nang?

    I've been to Nah Trang.

Based on what would you say Nah Trang is better overall for living and working?

Thanks anyway. I suppose we'll just wait and see what we find. Looks like Air Asia will start flying to DAD via DMK in June.

I've been working in Thanh Hoa Province for the last 2.5 years on the Nghi Son refinery project, so can answer from Hanoi down to Vinh. Sorry, not been to Da Nang, but fire away on what you need to know.

    In general:
    1. Everything is very cheap: beer, spirits, hotels, massage ( not the Thai type / more physical).
    2. A woman reaching 30 is usually regarded as too old to marry, even though they can be in great condition.
    3. Cash society. You live off the ATM.
    4. Very friendly people who always want you to visit their homes.
    5. Not recommended for those with delicate stomachs. If it moves, they eat it: dog, porcupine, field rats, are a few delicacies.

Da Nang was pretty dead for nightlife for westerners last time I stayed there in 2015. Hoi An is 30 mins away in a cab and is much much more fun
