I like the Border Closing Ceremony depicted by Michael Palin. Definitely a "Ministry of Silly Walks!

    Thanks. Great shots.

I wondered about this one though. Nicely decorated but the architecture reminds me of a repurposed prison wing. You see just that in many movies.

Anywhere and everywhere, you gotta go and see the things that interest you.

I don't know you from Adam so I really can't tell you what you would like, but Varanasi. If someone doesn't like Varanasi they don't like India and should leave.

Where would you recommend in India on West Coast? I have been to Bangalore & all over the north including Punjab.

I've just done 3 months in India and I have to say I was disappointed with Mumbai. I just expected it to be...more...if that makes sense.

In fact in terms of big cities I much preferred both Bangalore and Delhi.

Places I would recommend as must see are definitely Kerala, Rajisthan, Varanasi, Amritsat and of course Agra.

Still deconstructing my time there and really not sure whether I love it or hate it.

Excellent photos by the way although it appears I cannot green you although I probably haven't been on here in about a year!
