also, on the weekend they have 2 hours of financial programs which they refer to as 'the cost of freedom'.

what about the constant "Terror Alert" ticker ? is it still there ? still at "Elevated" whatever the fuck that means ?

Faux News watchers are probably the most foolish and dillusional audience you could imagine to have for greedy network executives. They will buy anything.

Perhaps the reason why the US considers actors and journalists 'liberals' (I really hate the way the US can turn a positive adjective into an insult) is because they are educated. Maybe they see things for what they are.

Charlton Heston - mmm, a liberal? Maybe not.

Yeah, what happened to those "Orange alerts" and "Yellow alerts?"

Pretty hilarious now, thinking how stupid it was - and still is.

in 2002 NY times reporter michael gordon 'reported' about the alleged threat posed by iraq, and he's at it again.

gordon wrote the recent front page article regarding the tie between iranian arms and iraq...without the slightest hint of skepticism.

Deadliest Bomb in Iraq Is Made by Iran, U.S. Says - New York Times

Associated Press Finally Admits Democrats Are Undermining War Efforts

"Apart from legislation, Democrats have embarked on an effort to undermine public support for the war by holding numerous hearings"

How did that ever get through editing?

boner, that quote doesn't appear in the link you provided. it does, however, link to ... basically a blogger clearing house.

why do you incessantly post the opinions of other people?

Well, because it's also the learned opinion of this poster?

First,

There is NO surge.

The percentage of troops added to the total amoung already there, is not a "surge."

The term surge is a political-media buzzword.

Second,

The troop number being added are too low to have any effect long term, Boon Me.

Baghdad will likely be quiet for the next 2 or three months. The insurgents and militias members have faded away, and they will be adapting to the new tactics by the U.S.

Expect more violence to being in about May.

Some grassroots Iraqui endorsement of the surge .

"If the Americans keep doing it, they can make a difference," said Ali Muhammad, 37, an ice cream shop owner who lives in Ur. "But they have to stay. Otherwise it will never work"

There is fact, and then there is the Associated Press.

Associated Press headline: Analysis: Bush Loses GOP Support on Iraq

Fact: 91 percent of Republicans who voted in the House yesterday supported the President

One wonders, sometimes, how many news stories are written prior to the events they purport to describe?

Your Fuhrer looks old this days, Booner:

And, anything factually wrong with this?
"The House on Friday voted 246-182 to approve a nonbinding resolution expressing disapproval of Bush's troop buildup."

There is fact, and then there is Boon Mee's "opinion".

Yeah, but your quoted line wasn't published by the Associated Press which has the power to influence. Just another example of left-wing bias in the media...
