You have my sympathy for what it's worth.

Many immigrants take low paying jobs...which is why some will be a 'burden.' But is it their fault, or, is it the fault of a society unwilling to let them be equal? America has a long history of being afraid of or downright hostile towards foreigners. Is it because the citizen doesn't want the shit job? In contrast many of the engineers at Intel, Microsoft, etc. are foreign because too many unqualified people are being produced by the horrible education system here. Were it not for this ability to hire foreign workers economic competitiveness would decline even further.

The issue of immigration is far more complex than it appears.

Odd that...

Stroller please do not be mis-lead. In spite of having many un-happy people and many problems, most Americans believe that the American way is the best in spite of it's shortcommings and stand solidly together.
