Got another one...

Culture of corruption alert: Pennsylvania Democrat convicted on 137 counts

Huge outcome in the Vincent Fumo federal corruption trial in Pennsylvania today. He’s an unhinged Democrat and slimeball former state senator. And he’s headed to the Graybar Hotel:
Former State Sen. Vincent Fumo was convicted of all 137 counts against him today as his marathon federal corruption trial ended in a stunning victory for prosecutors.
The jury also found co-defendant Ruth Arnao guilty of all 45 counts against her.
After a 30-minute hearing this afternoon, U.S. District Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter agreed to let Fumo and Arnao remain free pending sentencing although he ordered them to post bail of $2 million and $500,000, respectively, by Wednesday.

No wonder Democrat politicians are so quick to raise taxes—they aren’t paying them anyway.
California’s Rep. Pete Stark, a senior House Democrat who helps write the nation’s tax laws, has been claiming a $1.7 million Maryland home as his principal residence in recent years, although he represents the Golden State’s 13th District on the east side of San Francisco Bay.
The 77-year-old Stark has saved himself nearly $3,900 in state and county taxes by claiming the six-acre waterfront estate as his principal residence, according to an investigation by Bloomberg News.
Maryland law allows the tax break only to those residences used “for the legal purposes of voting, obtaining a driver’s license, and filing income tax returns.”

Notified of the discovery, a state official said an investigation would be launched.

How about another one, boys & girls!

This is beginning to get repetitious. Just in from the EPA, another Obama nominee is bailing out over scrutiny of his past:
EPA Statement on Jon Cannon
Release date: 03/25/2009
Contact Information: Betsaida Alcantara, 202-564-1692 / alcantara.betsaida[at]epa.gov or Brendan Gilfillan, 202-564-2081 / gilfillan.brendan[at]epa.gov
(Washington, D.C. – March 25, 2009) Jon Cannon, nominee for Deputy U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator, released the following statement:
“Today I am voluntarily removing my name from consideration to be Deputy Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. It has come to my attention that America’s Clean Water Foundation, where I once served on the board of directors, has become the subject of scrutiny. While my service on the board of that now-dissolved organization is not the subject of the scrutiny, I believe the energy and environmental challenges facing our nation are too great to delay confirmation for this position, and I do not wish to present any distraction to the agency.”
EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson said: “I’m disappointed that Jon Cannon will be unable to serve as Deputy Administrator, and I thank him for his many years of dedication to the EPA. The administration will move quickly to identify a new candidate who can help us carry out our mission to preserve environmental sustainability and create green jobs as we transition the nation to a clean energy economy.”

The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Why can't they admit that Obama, a neighorhood community organizer, forgets he is The President of the United States of America? Why must they lie? French President Sarkozy is as short as the Saudi king, did Obama lean forward for him too?

It's strange that these brain freezes occur when he stands before a Saudi king and not before a French president. Is he some sort of Manchurian Candidate? How could he forget he's the President of the United States of America? Why would he be in such awe of a Saudi leader that he would forget who he is supposed to be and what country he represents?

Back on topic which why Democrats tell so many lies and don't pay their taxes. How about this POS, eh?

Sebelius Lied About Payoffs From Late-Term Abortionist

There may be more to Kathleen Sebelius's rabid support for abortion than a dread of the patter of little feet. The tax cheat Abortion Queen was paid more for her fanatical stance than she's been willing to admit:
President Barack Obama's health secretary nominee, Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, got nearly three times as much political money from an abortion doctor as she told senators.
In response to questions from the Senate Finance Committee, Sebelius wrote that she received $12,450 between 1994 and 2001 from one of the nation's few late-term abortion providers, Dr. George Tiller.
But records reviewed by The Associated Press show that Tiller gave at least $23,000 more from 2000-2002 to a political action committee that Sebelius established while state insurance commissioner to raise money for fellow Democrats.
According to Health and Human Services, this wasn't a lie, but an "oversight."

^ Mis-spoke, oversight, common error...shoowa. Tax cheaters don't care what tax rates are.

And I'd like to shoot that chick and the late-term abortionist. Take them living babies from his abortions to the White House steps.

It's actually nice to have a President who is sensitive to other culture's protocol and etiquette - it seems the only ones having a problem with a 'bow' are right-wing, uneducated morons, who feel it is best to antagonize other cultures.

Obama was bowing so low his head was close to the king's hand. Obama is the President of The United States of America. The protocol for the President of The United States of America is that he represents free men who bow to no potentate. Obama has his own protocol to follow. He could have nodded. If he wants to express his persuasion he should do it on his own time, not as the official head of state.
