Hundreds of protesters blocked a road in Kabul on Monday accusing U.S.-led troops of killing three members of a family, including two children, in a raid in the city, residents and witnesses said.

NATO and U.S. military officials could not be reached for comment on the allegation, the latest in a string of incidents that have angered Afghans and caused a split between the Afghan government and foreign troops.


Residents said U.S.-led troops carried out a pre-dawn raid in Hud Kheil area in the eastern quarter of Kabul, killing Noorullah and two of his sons, one of whom was eight months old.

You do realise that the Taliban were once considered 'allies' of the US right? That they were aided and funded by the US Govt.?

The US funded resistance fighters in Afghanistan but tried to prevent funds going to Islamic extremists, however as the CIA was working through Pakistan’s intelligence services, there was some disagreements of who would get funds and it is entirely possible that some money from the US ended up in the hands of some fighters who would later join the Taliban although it was not US policy. But, no the US did not fund the Taliban as you so simplistically claimed.

Maybe you should try to read some more scholarly material and not solely rely on propaganda sites. I read a good book on this topic years ago written by one of the Pakistan Intelligence officer involved at the time. Sorry I forgot the name of the book.

And while the writer was often critical of Washington’s handling of the funding of anti-communist fighters in Afghanistan, he was clear that the CIA was well aware of the potential dangers of funding Islamic extremists and tried to keep the funds and weapons away from the radicals such as the Taliban.

But if a lie is repeated often enough it becomes a “fact” to you lefties. You are going to believe the worst of America regardless of facts, but each and every simplistic post you make just further demonstrates your ignorance and irrational hatred.
