I'm not suggesting that military service is a positive experience to adapt toward civilian rule, but there are some attributes that don't fare well toward serving the public. Surely you know them well. If you had the opportunity to chose an untested, unknhown first term MP or a guy that had served 20 years in the forces and another 20 years as a tried and tested MP -- where would your vote go? Caution-to-the-wind -- whatever is cheapest -- yeah, I know. Fortunately Americans aren't such a bunch of stupid, short-sighted cunts.

At the end of the day in reality what has McCains military experience got to do with him becoming president, it's not as if he was a general devising battle plans now was it?? At the end of the day be it Barry or McCain who becomes the next president, none of them is going to be devising military planning, that will be your joint chiefs.

voted by the majority.... Let's be honest here You cavemen twats don't vote for anybody anyway, so the comparison is mute to begin with. Americans vote for a person, Thais and Poms vote for an ideal. (II think I can, I think I can.) Retards group together. Please don't think the comparison is lost ...

News flash -- dumbass Poms as Thais are the same. The populace can't be trusted with the vote. I used to think the Brits were equals. Damn, how wrong can a man be? Dumb cunts keep their privy ass wipes in charge. Why would America ever think the twats were friendly? I've certainly learned a valuable lesson.

Anyone who chooses to stay in a POW Camp until his mates come home with him, should be considered a hero of the highest order. Easy thing would have been to sell them out and go home - one courageous lad to do the opposite.

Firstly he is rash. I saw the interview with that church guy (both barak and mccain). McCain pretty much answered evrything immediately. one question in particular stuck in my mind, which was along the lines of "What do you do with evil" - an there were three choices (can't recall exactly) - Mccain without hesitation answered "destroy it" (one of the choices), and I think that was tyical mccain - answer first - and maybe think after - even along the lines of - who is it that is categorizing this event as "evil". There are very, very few issues in the world that a pure black and white, good and evil and a leader of a country as powerful as america cannot rashly decide something without first considering, at the least, who is setting the agenda. Couple that with a very well known bad temper (point two), and you have some one who really, really should not have their finger on the button. His running partner also scares me. She strikes me as someone who would not change their mind come hell or high water. Deeply religious people (of whatever stripe) are capable of great damage when in power, and god forbid (to use a phrase) that she ever takes over as number one (a real possibility). On the other side, I agree that much of what Obama offers lacks substance. However, that being said, I think he is the type of guy to think things through rather than rush in. maybe even talk to people and find solutions to problems that don't involve the American army invading countries. All in all, I would feel safer with Obamas finger on the button that Mccains. | |
