Let's start a Thread on Mad Joe Biden!

Aside from the usual we know about this second-rate hack, bet you didn't know he's already thrown in the towel!

There isn't as much interest in Biden because he's more well-known. Again, the VP hype for him last about 2 days, IMO. Palin's hype will last 2-3 weeks, and then the campaign will get back to the fundamental and/or philosophical differences between Obama and McCain.

Still 2 months to go.

Joe Biden is a known quantity and widely respected in the Capitol.
I think he was the logical choice for Obama, although some might be disappointed that the choice lacks the 'excitement' factor of picking someone like a Sarah Palin.

Exactly. Personally I hate him. He's an asshole who likes to insult the Republican party for no reason except that they're Republicans. He definitely weakens the ticket, in my opinion - dunno who I'm going to vote for now (although it probably doesn't really matter since I'm a CA resident). If Obama gets assassinated, I would not want this jerk in charge.

Biden is more respected than you can know. I am an American, living now (ret.) in Mexico and I said to my husband, apx. 2 years ago, when I was pulling for Hillary, "watch...whoever wins the Democratic Primary, will be wise to pick Biden as VP"...and guess what?
