The GOP needs to change the perception they represent the ideology of the far right and bring a moderated conservative policy if they hope to regain the losses of the last several years. Ex Governor Palin certainly doesn't fit the bill!

| ^ Oh whooppee. Sarah comes out of her cone of silence, and her first online comment since quitting as Governor of Alaska is this. Of course- This is pure fantasy, fact-free almost in its entirety. The nonpartisan group FactCheck.org said there was no basis for such a claim in any of the health care bills under consideration in Congress. One House bill would pay for counseling for terminally ill patients — something anyone who has lost an elderly loved one of late, as I have, will find essential. Palin’s Poison - Timothy Egan Blog - NYTimes.com Oh boy. How do you break this gently to an American- this was the woman that the Republican Party ran in the last elections to be your potential Vice President. I remember when most of the smart ambitious kids at Uni were Conservative leaning (I'll try and avoid the term 'Right', it has been totally discredited). Now, only 6% of Scientists in the US admit to being Republican. Any wonder why? Oh boy. 'Bye Sarah. "For a democracy, which depends on an informed citizenry to balance a permanent lobbying class, this is poison. And it’s one reason why town hall forums on health care, which should be sharp debates about something that affects all of us, have turned into town mauls. The lies and shouts have had the effect that all crank speech has on free speech — stifling any real exchange. In my state, Representative Brian Baird, a veteran of more than 300 town hall meetings during his 11 years as a Democratic congressman from southwest Washington, has decided not to hold any such forums this recess after receiving death threats."

These Death Panel statement are propaganda and false correct? Other posters claim it's not on the bill. Just for the record, to confirm. Death Panels won't exist, correct? | |

| ^Here is a site that might help you understand Michele Bachmann a little more. I used their search function to find these articles. You can do the same to find even more about her (if these articles don’t tell you enough). http://firedoglake.com/search/?terms=+Michele+Bachmann&sm=01&sd=01&sy=2000&em=08 &ed=12&ey=2009&dq=25&ob=date&dd=this&ss=asc&as=1&s ubmit=Search “Very odd” is an understatement when you’re talking about Ms. Bachmann. From one of the articles,...............It's funny -- outside of Penn Station I saw a guy a guy huffing glue out of a paper bag and he was making more sense than Michele Bachmann was making.
