Isn't that one of those "subjective nouns" or the like? i.e. I have personal convictions, you are a bigoted loony?

As appropriate as it may (!) be, calling Jet a bigoted loony is a bit much . . . she will get her revenge by .

See, Jet! I backing you up!

I have no problems with Jet, and I am sure she can appreciate the use of "you" as a general pronoun, not a personal one (if I have my english correct).

Good try at a stir though....

Ray assumes Palin has broken a law. When others dismiss it due to lack of any trial, judgment, witnesses or credible evidence, he asks how much tax fraud is acceptable.

The answer is none Ray. These people are public servants. They're held above imperfectly written laws. If the worst Palin or any other congressman/governor (including Biden and BO) has done is a half-a-day's wage, I'd say you're grasping.

The answer is still none. How much did BO gain on the purchase of his house? Yeah, same deal. Different side of the fence. Others could moan on and on and on about it but they don't.

You're playing tiddly winks on the sidelines here, Ray. It's unbecoming of an expert of your stature.

Why not wait for the debates. Then we can talk about the issues -- maybe.

no, i am simply asking for full disclosure. YOU and jet implied that committing tax fraud was nothing to be upset about. in fact, you made a joke about it being like pilfering a pen from an office.
i think most voters (especially those who aren't as partisan as you) would disagree.

it's clear you don't like when people scrutinize your party's candidates. if you want to call it 'grasping' because some are asking for more info regarding this corruption scandal, well so be it.

    i have no idea.

when cindy mccain refused to release her tax returns, your republican cohorts claimed, "oh she isn't running for office, her husband is". well, guess what, palin's running...and she's the only one of the four that hasn't released her tax returns.

Todd Palin is tough as nails.
The husband of Gov. Sarah Palin, or First Dude, as Alaskans have come to call him, survived a high-speed crash on Friday in which he broke his arm and had to be towed across the Chena River finish line in Fairbanks on Saturday after his snowmachine died, but he still finished the world’s longest, toughest snowmachine race in fourth place.
He's won the 2000 mile Iron Dog race 4 times, impressive by jeebus!
Let the Chicagoreans chew on those facts a while.

The GOP took the Dems message and turned it on its heels.

The audacity. The temerity! The nerve!

I think McCain is anti establishment. He's a straight shooter -- yeah, yeah 90% "with W" means W only vetoed 10% of the bills.... Get a grip. Sounds like a decent percentage to me. More -- or fewer (not less, Ray) -- I would be concerned.

You want change? THIS is change.

I'm not supporting either side, merely dampening the fires. Let the debates begin.

Even the old guard republican establishment didn't see this coming.
This is more fun than watching Kerry shredded by his Swiftboat crew.

what is your definition of a partisan? people who see the other side of the coin? who may have a more objective view point than yours without the blinders?

The preponderance of the people I see here challenging you seem to be at least in part still on the fence without partisanship either way at this point, me included, though swaying more towards the side of common sense. what you are doing is pushing them over to the other side though, because your making the case against Obama and Biden with your ott rants..

I seem to recall it was no overnight process for Hillary to release hers either.... Palin was just nominated ray why not give her a chance to take a breath before convicting her, she's got just a bit more on her plate to deal with than you as she has real issues..

Isn't this always the case for the Democrats?
In their zeal to denigrate the opponent they loose sight of logic and ethics. (remember Mary Mapes and Rathergate)

GWB can thank Dan Rather for being such a moron.

Detractors = 556 desperate hair-on-fire twats trying in vain to discredit a decent American MOM. Good luck. Who is for change? A hockey mom?

Shall we concede the first line of defense following your unbelievable loss will be the Momma Boy angle?

Good for her, but you are surely not saying that the fact she is a woman precludes her from questions concerning her relevant experience and ethics, e.g Troopergate.

The US political process has not sunk nearly that low- otherwise the Dem's would prolly run Martha Stewart.

The demos always try to appeal to the masses. Like equal opportunity.
Sadly, for them, every man/woman gets one vote. The odds just aren't with them.

They're quick to call it racism when a black guy is on the ticket.
But the truth is, their guy is just NOT AS PREFERABLE. Anything less than a DEM nomination, at this point, is pure racism. Clear and true.

Ya want votes (BO) or ya want substance (JB)?

I don't see much difference. The VP is a tool anyway. The funny part is that the Dems set this up ...

I thought Palin is the VP candidate for the Republican Party?

Oh, and there have been only 21 participants in this thread.
