| I would agree with the gods bit, but guns is one of the few issues that strongly effects how I vote. I have cast votes in state, local, and national elections for folks that were anti-gun but only because I was in agreement with far more of the rest of their platform. If it's even close a candidates position on the rights to keep and bear arms will swing my vote.

| CBS is reporting that The National Enquirer Has been threatened with a lawsuit from the McCain/Palin brigade...Why? Because the National Enquirer is suggesting that Palin may have had an affair with a friend of her husband. Seems they are planning an Edwards-esque spread in the next issue. Srticktly in terms of entertainment -- this is better than a movie. |

| Watched the Palin speech this morning, but I have been tied up with other things and no chance to post. I thought her speech was great. All-in-All I thought the night went really well for the red team. Not all that moved by the Huckaby speech, but the Giuliani speech was pretty good, and Palin was much better than I expected. I was pretty concerned (having not seen her speak before) about how she would come across. Did really well IMHO, and even some of the CNN “neutral” folks were giving her praise. Yet, to be seen how it will be received by those still undecideds, and now McCain needs to follow-up tomorrow with one even better. Go Johnny go. |

For the GOP a much bigger issue as it again keeps the campaign spotlight on Palin rather than McCain's presidential run.

| And remember Gary Hart and his affair? The Enquirer. The Enquirer has several legal expert lawyer that carefully go over each story, word by word, to check if it can be printed and keep them from getting sued for millions. The Enquirer has been sued and had to pay damages (e.g. Carol Burnett). But The Enquirer usually wins. If this is not a rumour about the Enqurier sniffing around Palin's past, and if any story and/or pics come out of the Enquirer, then there may be some smoke where there is fire. I am sure the Enquirer would only proceed with such a story if it knew it could back it up, morally and legally.

| You know Sarah Palin looks a lot like John McCain's wife. Of course they don't look exactly alike but there's something eerily similar about them. Is it just the pasty makeup? They may both use the same makeup artist so that might be it. |

| Just my opinion but Pailin looks like the type of woman who really likes it. She would have jumped Clinton in the oval office. I bet if McCain were to let her in to the Oval office alone with her hunting hubby she would probably get it on. She might even put it on video. I doubt she would bone McCain but we still don't know how horny a woman she is. She's got loads of kids and her daughter like most naughty Christian girls just can't hold it back. It's definitely in her DNA. |

| i'm looking forward to learning more about the allegations that she had an affair. and btw, regarding her kid getting knocked up before she was married....apparently the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree......it seems her first child was born 8 months after the wedding. |
