I haven't actually, next-to-nothing in fact. But you're right I shouldn't put any stock in what actual published research and the like has to say on the matter. Much better to listen to some random punter's unsubstantiated opinions and anecdotal 'evidence' on an anonymous internet forum. For what it's worth, I support Tex's opinion.... Religion is evident but his practical description is far more representative and not based on a POLL where the entire opinionated results are tainted by asking the question in the first place..
Meaning his point of view is not based on inspiring the thought about religion and eliciting a reaction accordingly, where as a POLL is designed to do just that...

DETROIT - In another blow to the Motor City’s tarnished image, Detroit pushed past St. Louis to become the nation’s most dangerous city, according to a private research group’s controversial analysis, released Sunday, of annual FBI crime statistics.

The study drew harsh criticism even before it came out. The American Society of Criminology launched a pre-emptive strike Friday, issuing a statement attacking it as “an irresponsible misuse” of crime data.

The 14th annual “City Crime Rankings: Crime in Metropolitan America” was published by CQ Press, a unit of Congressional Quarterly Inc. It is based on the FBI’s Sept. 24 crime statistics report.

The report looked at 378 cities with at least 75,000 people based on per-capita rates for homicide, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and auto theft. Each crime category was considered separately and weighted based on its seriousness, CQ Press said.

Last year’s crime leader, St. Louis, fell to No. 2. Another Michigan city, Flint, ranked third, followed by Oakland Calif.; Camden, N.J.; Birmingham, Ala.; North Charleston, S.C.; Memphis, Tenn.; Richmond, Calif.; and Cleveland.
The study ranked Mission Viejo, Calif., as the safest U.S. city, followed by Clarkstown, N.Y.; Brick Township, N.J.; Amherst, N.Y.; and Sugarland, Texas.

CQ Press spokesman Ben Krasney said details of the weighting system were proprietary. It was compiled by Kathleen O’Leary Morgan and Scott Morgan, whose Morgan Quitno Press published it until its acquisition by CQ Press.

The Motor city has become the murder city. Doubt all this can be blamed on Muslims though. More likely the unemployment because of the demise of the auto industry. No stats but guessing Muslims more likely to be victims rather than perps.

I care if obama is a muslim, now or ever before and yes it matters what HIS PASTOR spouts in sermons as obama has been a "CLOSE" friend of his pastor for over 20 years and yet obama says he has "NO Knowledge" of what his view points politically were before or are now. This I consider to be nothing but out and out LIES.

I don't like ANY religion and I consider all "followers of ANY religion" as blind fools and really just sheep. The world is a lot bigger than any of us SIMPLE people have ANY kind of control over and IF you can't grab that concept, then you are just one of the sheep, NO MATTER what your religion.

Have any of you watched "Zeitgeist, Spirit of the times" or even "Wag the dog"? We the people, have NO say so on what REALLY happens in this world and neither do the leaders of SO CALLED countries. It's all MONEY and the really big guys are whator who really control the world.
