^Elected POTUS eh?
I know what you acronym you have in mind.
Perhaps it should be Potential Of Total Undeniable Senility?
That would garner some votes to be sure.![]()

^ Better than a Michael Jackson pop star.
^That doesn't fit the acronym at all Jet.![]()

^ OK, sorry.
Obama: plans on taking us south. Is that better?
Traditionally only Hawaiian kings were allowed to strike such a pose while body surfing or standing before their subjects. Who does Obama think he is? Upstart.
Sen. Obama quoted Matthew 25:40 which reads, "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." How does he reconcile this with is stance for abortion on demand?
Dukakis has nothing to do with Obama, but it's a topic.
I'm just waiting for the election, and have grown sick of the campaigning. A campaign directed towards sheep, which is what the public, is.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the essentially it was the same political machine which stepped on their dicks in nominating Dukakis will be nominating Barry O.
Now history is repeating itself.
Barry is still an unknown quantity.
If pictures like this are going to be representative of who he is then he's toast.
IMHO![]()
He looks a lot like a harbor seal in that photo.
Best watch out for the great whites.
Whats so controversial about a kid that spent many of his younger years in Hawaii being comfortable in the Surf?
What do you need to have a good image then- facelifts and belly tucks?
The buffonery of the Demos and Dukakis was 20 years ago. I am not a Democrat now, and I never have been. A lot has changed since the. The Ds and Rs have drastically changed, basically becoming one political party, with both shifting to the center.
Dukakis and all of the other false analogies are just that: apples and oranges.
This is why I've largely tuned out.
Who will win this election? I don't know. Nobody does at this point. This may seriously do down to the wire. We may not know until the the next day.
............
i think the term you're looking for is uppity.Originally Posted by attaboy

Why do I think that?
Because I never thought William Jefferson Clinton stood a chance against George Herbert Walker Bush who went from being one of the most popular US Presidents ever to being beaten by a slick talking, philandering Arkansas governor.
And that 2000 and 2004 elections were both cliffhangers
Never underestimate the stupidity of the american voter I say.![]()
You've oversimplified things....again.
Texas went to H. Ross Perot. That swung the election. And remember that GH. Bush had an approval rating of over 80% in the April before the election. One of the things that sunk him was the economic downtown.
Not about about smooth talking.
9/10 are so ignorant they should not even be voting in my opinion.Never underestimate the stupidity of the american voter I say.![]()
And the nine out of ten stat is from a statistically valid poll.
and here we have the post election strategy for the TD issues forum "conservatives"......if mccain wins--we told you he'd win.......if obama wins---we never liked mccain anyway....he's not a real republican.Originally Posted by Mr Earl

Mr Earle,
After Bob Dole was nominated for the GOP in 1996, I stopped voting Republican and started voting Libertarian, and still do and still will vote Liberatarian.
Raycarey:
What's interesting about McCain is that many conservatives do not like McCain. If McCain picks a moderate VP it will reduce the influence of the right-wing Christians, IMO. Even if he picks a social-religious-conservative, I don't think McCain will pander to the Christian-rigt.
And this, I like.
sorry, i guess you missed it. he already has. remember the 'agents of intolerance'?Originally Posted by Milkman
you, like many, still think john mccain is the same man he was in 2000. that's simply not the case. he's a shell of his former self.
