| Does this eliminate the ladies? Could be. Or is he just throwing us off. Hillary or Kathleen might just be sitting back enjoying all the hubbub. Let's not forget Chaney was heading Bush's VP selection team and look what happened there. Even the young Kennedy is possible? "When is a pronoun more than just a part of speech? A missing word in a standard response delivered by presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama Tuesday night sent political reporters scrambling. The Illinois senator has been careful this campaign season to refer to his future running mate as “he or she,” to avoid sending unintentional signals about which party figures may or may not be in the running. But asked at a North Carolina town hall meeting whether he would use a future vice president the same way President Bush has, Obama referred to just one gender. "Let me tell you first what I won’t do,” he said. “I won’t hand over my energy policy to my vice president, without knowing necessarily what he’s doing."" | I reckon Biden would be a tremendous pick, due to his time spent in the capitol, and his foreign affairs experience in particular. Really, when you remove all the Dross from the anti-Obama hype, what valid criticism remains? Only his lack of foreign affairs experience, and maybe the fact he's a one term senator (although this is piffling). p.s:- How much combined foreign affairs experience did the Cheney/Bush tag team have?

Same goes for McCain. If it's going to be close The same will happen this year. So it really doesn't matter who Barry picks as a running mate. The big power brokers aren't going to deal him in in any event. | |

| OK. That means, late tonight in South East Asia - tonight - we'll know. On Saturday Obama has said he'll stump with the new VP running mate, so tonight would make sense. There would be be two full work-days of coverage. |

| ^ and ^^ Biden would be a good pick. He does tend to "bloviate" (his word) but if they handlers can handle him, and keep him to keep his mouth shut, his age and experience would help balance the ticket. And no, I better not try to call it again as I picked 2 different people and I usually get it wrong, anyway.
