All just another example of the GWB administration's history of refusing to admit negotiations are the path to getting things resolved but are doing just that in Iran and North Korea. I applaud the move but condemn the administrations attempt to continue it's "no negotiations" rhetoric when all can see their actions in fact, are negotiations.

| The New Straits Times reported this morning that there are nude pictures of Ms Palin circulating on the net. Unfortunately they did not publish the pictures. |

No, I don't think he'd be re-elected. And a high percentage of GOP voters strongly dislike him according to polls. That said, a term limit for Presidents is a good thing for many reasons. The Executive has the most power in government of the 3 branches.

| Quote: If George H. Bush was not chosen by Reagan as his VP, would G.H. Bush have become President? Speculation, but not likely, IMO. And then the former President GHB has his son GWB on a Presidential family platform. Many people think Reagan's biggest mistake was choosing G.H. Bush as VP over, Laxalt. | |

"My qualifications to lead the most powerful country in the world are that I have taught college and am a member of a Senate committee...." Priceless.*I had to edit this, because it's the gift that just keeps giving, and I just wanted to post it again." Actually, I still support Obama, just just barely. But, ill thought-out responses such as that one raycarey just made, should they be made by better thinkers, might make me re-think my position. | |

| I suppose a certain amount of knowledge of the political process is important to be able to step into the Presidency. This can be achieved either at state level (Governor) or federal level- congressman or senator. If by Executive Leadership you mean Management experience, I don't think you need that at all. As we used to say in banking- 'if we need a good manager, we'll hire one'. The Pres has his White House chief of staff for day to day management, amongst other people- The POTUS role is more to do with leadership, policy making, foreign diplomacy and communication with the Public. He is not the senior government Bureaucrat.

| Sundance is my bff | Disagree Sabang. A leader is a leader. A boss is a boss. You can get this knowledge in many different ways, but without it. you can never lead any global organization, let alone the most powerful country in the world. There are things that you learn leading companies, or organizations, that cannot be easily attained by those who haven't done it, or who don't have the aptitude. It takes experience, and BTW, good leaders are different from bad leaders...... |
