Not a chance.

He'll choose a woman -- he's soft and gooey like that. Besides he's heard about the free BJs in the Oval Office.

I heard he plans to disband the DoD as completely unnecessary.

^ ahahahaha. I haven't heard that but sounds plausible.
I still like Richardson.
Hilly? Guess she's licking her wounds but did see her at Tim Russert's memorial today. Bless Tim. Apparently, John and Barack were sitting together in a pew yakking away and even hugged! Oh, dear.

The campaign will be just one big love in. Hey, maybe John seeing the writing on the wall will opt to be Barak's VP.

Obama's decision earlier this week to hire Solis Doyle to be the chief of staff for his yet to be named VP has pissed off a few Clinton supporters.

Reaction from an unnamed Clinton insider:
Quote:
Translated subtitles aren't necessary. There is no other way to interpret this other than 'Fuck you'.
CQ Politics:
CQ Politics | Fired Clinton Campaign Manager Named to Run Obama’s VP Campaign

And a couple of Washington Post - The Trail links for good measure:
Solis Doyle Joins Obama Campaign | The Trail | washingtonpost.com
Clinton Insiders Take Umbrage at Solis Doyle Move | The Trail | washingtonpost.com

If this keeps up the red team won't need to do much work to try and incite division withing the blue team. That being said it seems to me that there are still quite a few Clinton supporters that just sit around waiting for chances to pounce on Obama moves and then bitch. Still a bit bitter about Hillary not going to the mat (taking it all the way to the convention).

Oh, and this move seems to have led many to believe that Hillary is as good as marked off the VP list. If this is indeed the case would it behoove Obama to name his actual VP choice as soon as possible to give the blue team maximum time to bring Clinton supporters into the fold, or is it better for him to hold off until later?

Bill Richardson wouldn't be a bad choice, which why he wont get it. BO has been making bad choices.

John Kerry announced he'd accept if asked.

^I might switch my vote to McCain if Kerry was named VP. I hate that poser.

I'd say Hills is as good as gone. The dust is settled and many people have forgotten about her. Edwards would be a good choice, IMO.

Seems Obama's selection folks are narrowing down to either Nunn or Edwards. Both would work but Nunn IMO would bring the most to the campaign.

Obama is doing the right thing in breaking away from Hillary's obvious attempt in influencing his politics by using her support base as leverage. He still needs to work on getting her most ardent supporters (old white women) in his column but Hillary is now in the hot seat to make it happen. Should she fail, she will become a pariah in the party!

Sam Nunn:

I don't think BO will choose Nunn. Sam Nunn will be 70 in September, has been out of office for over a decade, and is not known that much nationally. Nunn also opposed gays in the military and supported school prayer.
