| Obama's Pastor: Rev. Jeremiah Wright correct title : REV. DR. JEREMIAH WRIGHT, TRINITY UNITY CHURCH OF CHRIST This guy is an evil piece of shit that Obama has claimed has been his mentor throughout his political career . Funny how the most vocal of the black agitators look almost white. Controversial minister off Obama's campaign - CNN.com Last edited by BobbyTits : 15-03-2008 at 09:35 PM. |

| ^ You didn't provide a lot of info, considering it's an OP. I do recall that Obama claimed this guy was for "spritual advice," and not a "mentor." But maybe I'm wrong. I've read his statements, and don't see anything wrong with them. I don't understand the negative reactions to his views on 9/11 and/or blacks in the USA.

| Senior Member | MM, You poor baby, I would like to see where the blacks in your area of the USA have or had such a raw deal, I worked up there, and shipped with S.I.U. out of there and have black friends that shipped with me and have spent alot of time at their homes and most of the wives worked at boeing and they all had good lives, except like the coons everywhere that want a free ride and welfare and never have 2 kids with the same dad or a steady job. they are the ones crying, not the working people. So therefore being the seditionist that you are I can see your point I guess. Bad Bad USA..

Can you provide a link, or reference, to when Obama has claimed the good Rev has been his mentor? Anyway, this seems just another blatant attempt to play the race card, like the old bleating that Obama must be Muslim because he lived in Indonesia for four years as a kid.

| This issue is a bit silly. America's foreign policy and economy are headed for disaster and you really think that Obama's minister should determine one's vote? Apparently many Americans voted for Bush in 2004 because Kerry supported gay marriages. Now many of these same voters are facing foreclosure and shrinking paychecks (and gays are still getting married). Influential Democrats who have endorsed Obama (e.g., ex-Federal Reserve chairman Paul Volcker and ex-National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brezezinski) are more significant than this eccentric old minister. Almost every modern American president has received spiritual counseling from Reverend Billy Graham, who is on record for making the following remarks about Jews. Does that make those past presidents unfit? David Vest: Billy Graham, Nixon and the Jews |

Hope the same double standard that the blacks get away with on a daily basis will not apply to Obama. Imagine if a white candidate had any sort of alliance with a hate spewer like the Rev. Wright and how fast the media would be all over it.

| Wishful thinking there...the rabid bloggers and Fox-news drones from the rightwing fever-swamps weren't gonna vote for him anyway, and the rest of the world couldn't care less. |

| So, first Obama was a Muslim. Seems to have gone all quiet on that front now. Now, predictably, you have the Fox news show Hannity and Colmes pushing these 'revelations' that the pastor of Obama's Christian church made some inflammatory remarks. Frankly, so what. It seems the US population has not had the privilege of listening to firebrand Irish priests for several generations now- this stuff is tame in comparison. Does it matter, to his election prospects? I don't really know- the US is a strange country to us foreigners, where getting a blow job off a horny intern seems to capture the public eye more than lying to your citizens to invade another country, and causing over one million deaths as a result. I doubt this stuff would capture more than a passing comment in Europe- Obama was not present anyway during these sermons. Guessing I admit, but on balance I don't think this will make much difference at all to Obamas election prospects. Lets face it, the same people who are banging the drum about the Rev are the same people who were falsely claiming that Obama was Moslem, who were falsely claiming he attended a Moslem school, and so on. In other words, the same people who would never vote for him anyway, because he is half black. Grew up in a single parent family, graduated summa cum laude from Harvard Law School, became the first Afro American editor of the Harvard Law Review, US Senator, speaks his own mind- no ones stooge? Doesn't matter- he's a Nigga. Not much else to say about it. Sad really. |

He would make Goebbles proud... btw..."Sen. Obama promised to transcend race; millions of sincere people of both parties took him at his word and invested psychologically and materially in his candidacy. Part of his message was that collectively America had made great progress, and their Ivy League and subsequent careers, in addition to his rhetoric of inclusiveness and tolerance, bore witness to that progress in racial equality. Now we learn, that for much of his career, he was not only attending hate-filled sermons against “rich white people” and the “g-d d——d America” (in hopes of solidifying his racial fides in regional Chicago politics?), but subsidized that ministry of intolerance. So while he promised an evolution beyond the race-identity politics of Jesse Jackson or the Rev. Sharpton, his own minister trumped anything that either one of those preachers might have sermonized. All in all—a betrayal" The Corner on National Review Online=

| I know this isn't going to be popular with GWB fans, but I happen to agree with Wright's comments below, and I'd bet that so would millions, if not billions, of others around the world would too: Quote:
What gave the American governments throughout the three or four preceding decades the idea that these kind of foreign policy fuckups would never have consequences?

| ^ You are criticizing that "nigger" for being a racist, are you? Sorry, BG, I'm not going to debate this with you. You and I are going to have to agree to disagree. |

Keen observation , except most whites were overlooking that fact in hopes of Obama's 'gospel' ringing true if he were President. But when you align yourself with a filthy little half looking 'Nigga' like the hate spewing Rev. Wright it brings back all those warm fuzzy feelings most American whites have of the black community in USA.
