A key prob with Bambi's 20-year relationship with this pastor is his judgement with staying on with this church for so long. I doubt Wright preached loving sermons based on several clips I saw. More fire and brimstone and "us blacks have to take a stand". This will be difficult for Bambi to deflect. I watched that speech again and there is racism in there re his white granma and I also wondered why he had to read bible quotes from a page -- after 20 years, he should know them by heart. And doing his speech from (it looks like) a teleprompter. Didn't notice that before.
And where is his wife these days? Loking after the kiddies and painting Easter eggs for the hunt? Your huz is running for prez, lady, get with the program. Mind, he's probably better off without her vinegary speeches.

do all christian candidates (particularly giuiliani) support everything the pope says?

has john mccain renounced the quotes of john hagee?

did mitt romney support everything said by the only prophet in mormonism?

did GWB support bob jones university's policy barring interracial dating?

the likely answer to all these questions is 'no'. so why all the attention to obama's pastor?

let's be clear....this isn't about religion, it's about race---and more accurately the divisive politicization of race. because that's the only arrow in the republican quiver that has even the slightest chance of damaging the candidacy of barack obama.

and in the end they will fail, because while the american people have the tendency to be distracted by the shiny penny, they eventually come to their senses (notice iraq) and look at thing critically. by the time the election comes in november, most americans will be rolling their eyes at this pathetic attempt to demonize obama because of something someone he knows said.

and by the way, so much for obama not being 'tested'.

You have not added any opinions or linky refs that I have seen, except personal slag offs of other posters. I have opinions on Wright and Obama, of course. Why don't you debate the bases of my opinions instead of bashing me personally? Need more info on the issues? I can give you links. You should also read the articles published by the black and latino press in the US. I have.
