They've had the wkend to think about it and come up with some more blather. Why didn't BO just state the connections, which would have been normal, right at the start? Of course Michelle had linkies-- she's the wifey know it all.

what are you on about? what connections? what links? cite a credible source which shows how the obamas are even remotely connected to illegal activities carried out by blagojevich.

There is only one link worth reading. All the rest is speculation, innuendo and assumption driven by some twisted delight people have to connect Obama to the scam. The only mention of a "connection" is a meeting an Obama staffer had with the governor to give him a list of recommended people to fill the Senate seat. This is perfectly normal given President Elect Obama is the head of the Democratic Party. It should be noted, the governors name was not on the list. It should also be noted, political insiders have stated Obama had a strong dislike for Blagojevich and kept a distance between them.

The Attorney General has made it very clear there is nothing to tie Obama to the scam. But hey, what does he know!

The only 'smoke' is from Republican blogs! Blag and Obama where never close, they don't even like each other. The law enforcement agency involved has already said Obama is not implicated in any way.

Has Bill Ayers been made Director of Homeland security yet?

^ C'mon. Rahm or BO already said they had discussed favs for the senator seat with Blago. Why not just admit it and get on with it? That would be the smart thing to do and keep everyone from guessing otherwise. Now it looks like they're trying to cover something up. Welcome Chicago-style politics to the WH.
