| blacks had / have legit complaints. i was raised in south Texas & remember 'colored water fountains' .. once I attempted to drink from 'the black fountain' in a grocery store.. my dad jerked me away like i was stepping in front of a speeding truck i attended high school with 0 blacks .. & remember few ( 1? ) blacks at a major university. & remember when there were no blacks playing in the ncaa.. (allowed me, a slow smallish white boy, to attend college on an athletic scholarship) in my junior year a black tight end, way fast & way chiseled & a major ass kicker, joined the freshman squad. blacks had / have legit complaints. lots of insecure xenophobes (ignorant redneck crackers) out there that Michelle has had to deal with. |

| I earn significantly less than 250K. In fact, I'd be happy to see that in several years. Some people just can't fathom "country first" or doing something for the country even if it doesn't provide personal gain... Simply too much to ask. |

| O'Bama's tax plan is similar to the tax rates under clinton .. before the shrub gave huge breaks to the trickle down fat cats. Mrs. Mc's taxes would go up $55k providing health care to the poor will take the burden off emergency rooms at private hospitals. the current system REQUIRES private hospitals to take all ill persons presenting at the ER without checking their ability to pay .. wrecks, OB, tooth aches, flu .. no matter the current system puts the burden of the society on private enterprise. private hospitals are required by law to treat ALL persons presenting to the ER. a solution would be to allow hospitals to deny emergency room treatment to those who cannot prove they can pay In lieu of societal responsibility: I am in favor of denying ER treatment to anyone who cannot document their ability to pay .. before they are put in the ambulance proof of payment payment should be secured .. or leave em' in the street, perhaps move them to the curb to facilitate traffic, but do not require private enterprise to treat for free. where I currently live the city has a $15 ambulance fee added to the bi monthly water / sewer / trash bill .. even if you have insurance, in order to have water, sewer & trash you must pay the ambulance fee .. this is the way it was before I bought a home here, apparently continuity of ambulance service was threatened due to lack of payments.. ?? |

country first. what does that mean? change means no more of the failed bush/cheney/boehner/mcconnel economic policy / failed neo-con war monger policy trickle down success assumes wall street investment in the US economy .. not wall street investing US fat cat tax breaks in the Raynong Mazda plant or the Guadong / Shenzen textile mills. wall street investment globalization has rendered Ray-Gun's trickle down economics bad for amerika in the 21st century O'Bama wants to end tax breaks for outsourcing .. Mc want to encourage outsourcing & the shipping of US union jobs overseas. saw a thing last evening on the outsourcing of airplane maintenance.. $38 per hour in the US vs $3 in Honduras. the cheap tickets are way cool & only a few crashes per year are attributed to poor manitenance. | |
