This has been mentioned in a couple of threads.

George W. Bush (more likely his campaign managers at the federal and/or state level) conducted racist push-polling. The called registered voters in South Carolina before the South Carolina and asked (to paraphrase) if they would vote for McCain if he had an illegitimate black daughter from an affair.

(I'm sure this can be found on google.)

Anyone would think it was Michelle and not Barrack Obama that was running for office. This sort of thing's a sad indictment on US politics I reckon.

I don't mind the gorilla pic being removed. It was just a bit of fun. But in fairness, shouldn't the numerous monkey photos of GWB also be removed?

Or is the gorilla-Michelle Obama comparison only offensive because she's black? Or a woman?

^I think we can all agree the entire thread has devolved into little more than a degrading or belittling picture contest. Except for a handful of the 500 plus posts, seems there is not anything of significance to discuss about Michelle.
