What a bitter, unhappy woman she is:

Heh...this chick can't keep her Gob shut!

"Asked how she feels about Bill Clinton's use of the phrase "fairytale" to describe her husband's characterization of his position on the Iraq war, (Michelle Obama) first responded: "No."

But, after a few seconds of contemplation, and gesturing with her fingernails, she told the reporter: "I want to rip his eyes out!"

do you think people don't realize you've taken it completely out of context, and that she was joking with the reporter? part of the context is even inlcluded in your link...."kidding, see that's what gets me into trouble."

but keep trying old timer.

btw, i'd like to recommend that everyone read the article that boon mee linked to....it's a very flattering portrayal of the future first lady.

thanks boon mee!

heh.

Wow, Michelle Malkin sure has a hard on for Michelle Obama:

Obama’s biggest general election liability: His bitter half

Quote:
Are you ready for hope and change? Barack Obama better hope his bitter half has a change of attitude if she expects to assume the title of first lady in November. She’s been likened to John F. Kennedy’s wife, what with her chic suits and pearls and perfectly coiffed helmet hair. But when she opens her mouth, Michelle O. is less Jackie O. and more Wendy W. — as in Wendy Whiner, the constantly kvetching Saturday Night Live character from the early 1980s.
Quote:
In one of her few (unintentionally) funny moments during a recent sit-down with comedian Stephen Colbert, Mrs. Obama claimed, “Barack and I tend to look at the positives.” That’s a side-splitter. As National Review’s Yuval Levin put it, Michelle Obama is “America’s unhappiest millionaire.” And she has the audacity to extrapolate her misery and her husband’s alleged victimization to the “vast majority of Americans.”
Quote:
In South Carolina, she called America “just downright mean” and bemoaned “a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day.” And in case you hadn’t heard enough of her carping about how hard it is for a seven-figure-earning family to pay for ballet lessons and piano lessons and pay off college loans, Mrs. Oh-Woe-Is-Me was at it again on the campaign trail in Indiana and North Carolina before Tuesday’s primary.
Quote:
We all know. So get over yourself already, haughty spirit. Pride doesn’t photograph well. And bitterness leaves frown lines. Which means Botox bills. Which “struggling folks” like you and your husband simply cannot afford.

Try smiling for once. It’s cheaper.

Well, she doesn't appear to be a very nice person, does she?
Allowed to attend Princeton due to affirmative action (she ain't that smart) she got hung up on how downtrodden the Negro is blah, blah, blah. Her undergraduate thesis was barely literate!

^There is a large element out that that think she is too severe and too whiny. She has obviously been going through a "pimp my image" program, which is what she needs.

That is expected: Malkin is a spin doctor for the foolish.

She is a polemicist, who makes money off this stuff.

She has an agenda.

Just like the folks that are on the opposite side of things, that write articles and tell us how to think, and what to believe in.

I'll pass.

I'll research on my own, and make my own judgments.

^Well, I hope Michelle Obama can be softer and more lovable, and I hope she listens to her handlers. At this point, she comes across as radical.

What's radical about what she says?

This assertion is part of the thinly disguised racism branded about against the Obamas.

I think Michelle Obama can be trained to be Presidential wife material. She will have to smile more and hold her tongue. There is a lot of pressure when you're in the global spotlight. I will cut her a lot of slack and she will get it, because she's smart.

I don't think some of the members of this board who've never been under any kind of spotlight have any clue what it's like to travel in high visible society.

This is an interesting point. I suppose there is a classic definition of what constitutes "Presidential wife material". There have been quite a variety of first lady personalities ranging from stepford wife like to to outspoken. I wonder what the consensus might be in America?

I would for sure want her on my side in a knife fight. She will have to tone it down a bit for decorums sake. Eleanor Roosevelt certainly did well and was damn outspoken on many issues.
