Liberal with a big L, or is that not to your liking? And btw midget, seeing as even you may agree he desperately needs a religion because it's suicide to run without a godly belief, and that you seem to know all about everything, how about you educate us as to his true, definitive, religion, which isn't going to change according to mood or political expedience...or is this too obscure for even the likes of you to figure out?
Also, do you really believe the past 2 Presidential terms were a religious hijacking? A simple yes or no should suffice either to scotch your own comments, or demonstrate yet again that you are comfortable arguing all three sides of the same coin.
I simply refuse to believe you are really this stupid Booners.Originally Posted by Boon Mee

heh.![]()

Leaving aside your personal insults for now, which btw don't make your comments any more 'reasoned', quite the opposite in fact, info about Obama's religious beliefs and their history is readily available on the net.Originally Posted by keda

Seems like a pretty dubious survey alrightOriginally Posted by raycarey

"That's because the big finding the (National) Journal is trumpeting this time around is that the Senate's most liberal member in 2007 was Sen. Barack Obama. That puts him ahead of, for example, Wisconsin Sen. Russ Feingold. Oh, and it also puts him ahead of an actual socialist, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. And then there's the man at No. 3, Delaware Sen. Joe Biden, hardly known as a raging lefty. Biden comes in ahead of both Feingold and Sanders as well. (Sen. John Kerry was ranked as the most liberal in 2003, another distinction that seems dubious and became a campaign issue.)"
Barack Obama: The Most Liberal Senator? An Analysis
So Obama is more liberal than Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist? And Russ Feingold, known as fairly liberal on most issues? And, as the article states, the same magazine found Kerry the most Liberal senator in 2003 - as he commenced his democratic Presidential run.
Anyway, every candidate this years is more Liberal than the disastrous neo-con's, and thats a good thing.
Heres another excerpt that doesn't back up that survey at all_
"Okay, so Obama’s not the most liberal senator. But who is?
One answer can be found here, in Lewis and Poole’s Optimal Classification ranking of voting patterns the 110th Senate. Here’s a description of the method. This measure isn’t quite “liberal vs conservative” but it does tell you which senators are most alike, as based on their voting records and boiled down to a single dimension. For the Democrats, Russ Feingold, Chris Dodd and Bernie Sanders are on one side, with Tim Johnson, Mary Landrieu and Ben Nelson on the other. In the 110th congress, there are 10 senators who are closer to Feingold than Obama is. (Of course, the 110th session is only half over.) In the 109th, for which there’s complete voting data, there were 20. In the 109th session only three places separated Obama and Clinton—they were ranked 21st and 25th respectively. So far in the 110th session, eight places separate them. It’s Obama who has moved."

Erm, let me help out here, have you read this bit, Walter:
"Obama was never a Muslim."
What you're guilty of now is gross silliness, inability to read and comprehend what is really a fairly simple passage, changing the subject and lack of intestinal fortitude to stand up and admit to the fact you made a mistake.
And I'm being generous there in calling it a mistake. Such has been your disingenuous ducking and diving I'm rather starting to think it was an outright, knowing and intentional, lie.
^I thought the issues rule was to provide links/evidence?
You and keda could both do with a refresher course by the looks.

^I think the Issues rule only applies to the OP. Poster are free to fire away, AFAIK. Kao Jai Mai, Ant?
Is that so? Hmm, interesting. So, following the OP, you're basically free to post a load of unsubstantiated bollocks then. Cool.Originally Posted by chinthee

Anyways it's utter bollocks that you're just making up. Google it if you don't believe me: "Obama+not what Booners says he is"

^Yes, I think that's true. After the OP has thoroughly researched the subject and provided links, you are free to terrorize the thread with unsubstantiated personal opinions and assertions.
Enjoy.

^Yes, you should take a page from our illustrious German founder, heir Stroller.
