Wonder what these preconditions would be. If the Bush doctrine were followed the precondition for negotiating with Iran over it's nuclear program would be to have Iran stop their nuclear program before Bush would talk to them about stopping it. Maybe, but only because some happened to be in the country, I was there just a few years prior to the hostage taking and I thought that the country was a lot better off with the Shah running things, lots of advancement in the country and more freedoms, but the Muslim leaders like Khomeini [sp] can not stand that so when the CIA let him leave France instead of killing the son of a bitch it was a sad day for the Iranian people and a bright day for the Taliban.
