however, by playing to the lizard brain and the lowest common denominator i believe that they have damaged his campaign. by and large americans aren't really that discerning.. this is why mcdonalds, chuck norris movies and britney spears are so popular. and this is not a slam on americans, because i believe the citizens of most countries are the same way...they really don't take the time to think about what they're consuming (whether it be food, entertainment, or news), they just suck it in without wondering if it's toxic. that said, i still support him and hope he will win....but i fear they've successfully tarred him with this disgraceful character assasination.

| Sundance is my bff | ^Norton, yes he did finally do the thing I've been advocating for a long time. It was the smart thing to do. Evidently, according to some TV reports, this all relates back to the day Obama first made his announcement, and Wright, as his personal advisor at the time, was at his side in the basement, and assumed he would be invited on stage with Obama. Obama's campaign managers insisted he not go on stage with Obama. In retrospect, that was a VERY wise decision. Reportedly, Wright felt terribly slighted by that as he thought he had deserved the right to be on stage with Obama. Obama is going to have trouble distancing himself from this guy now. |

| Some wiseass once said a week is a long time in politics. And the ramifications of human behavioural psychology are about as complex as predicting the weather. Wright, unwittingly it seems, has done a big favour to Obama by his latest bile. Obama has made a clean break- and either he genuinely meant it, or he's such a good actor he leaves Pres Raygun for dead. These days, it doesn't matter in Politics. Too little, too late? Ultimately we're all guessing, and you needn't bother putting your best guess here really- it will only be a function of whom you want to win. The electoral camjpaign is of course about to change, to the Home stretch- the actual election. Of the three left standing, only Hillary was even mentioned as a serious contender about six months ago. You know who I want to win, but that means nothing. No contender can be written off at this stage. It may be the case that Obamas 'ordeal by fire' will prove to be the right thing at the right time, in retrospect. Both him and Hillary are more concerned about the Dem nomination than McCain at this stage. That, of course, will change quite soon.

| Sundance is my bff | I've been listening to more speculation and revelations on TV. Reportedly, Obama first came to Wright and asked him to help him politically through the large church congregation and contacts in the black community. As a Chicago outsider from Hawaii, he needed some local contacts and champions in his early political career. Wright seems to think that he was instrumental in Obama getting to where he is today, and this is the reason for his pain of being betrayed. After the snub of not being invited on stage at Obama's announcement, evidently, it went downhill from there. |

but i wonder if that's a thing of the past. he's recently flip flopped on the evangelical nuts, the bush tax cuts, and campaign finance reform.

| Sundance is my bff | Fat dickwad, Michael Moore, supports Obama. This might be enough for me to withdraw my support. Not really, but here's what he says: Filmmaker Moore speaks out on Obama, Wright, ClintonQuote:

I also think the excitement behind Obama is good for the country. But I don't agree that just because you're unhappy with Bush you should just blindly stumble into the voting booth and vote for any democratic candidate. That's just blind partisanship.

| Sundance is my bff | ^Yes, good point. As I see this whole pastor controversy, Obama used Wright as a stepping stone in his political career. He probably overlooked his outrageous views. Now he's being closely tied to those views. Not fair certainly, as this guy wasn't Obama's father ffs. |
