If I was a bettn' man I'd bet that what happens between now and November will have more impact on who gets elected than what has happened up until now (from things the candidates can control and from things changing that they cannot control). Plenty of time for any of the candidates to sink their own ship. Problem tends to be that rather than making sure they each sail the course they all tend to work too hard on sinking each others ships. Like watching a school election rather than an election for who will run the nation - fookn' pitiful much of the time.

Same thing happened to McCain on the Republican side when they were all running him down or at best keeping arms distance. Once he had the voters behind him, they starting gushing about what a wonderful candidate he is.

| if clinton does not blow out obama (20 points +) in each of the following three contests, i think party 'elders' will make "behind the scenes" contact with the clintons and ask her to step aside. if she rebuffs them, they may very well go public....and once that happens, she's officially toast because her only remaining chance at the nomination is having the superdelegates override the voters.

Does he resent white people or is he part of the elite that sneers at blue-collars? Does he not care about "little people" or is he a socialist who will redistribute hard-earned money to everyone?" |

| Yeh, Politicians are spineless. Obama does have his work cut out in Pennsylvania though- this was always going to be the the case, although the much hyped comments he made in SF haven't helped. |

| Senior Member | Heh...where else would he find a gathering of like-minded moonbats besides SF & other assorted enclaves along the east coast - maybe Austin, TX. Those 'comments' are resonating big-time throughout middle America. Come November...we'll just have to see if it'll be a blow-out ala McGovern style or perhaps another Mondale or Dukakis debacle...heh

![]() how many polls have you cited in the last few weeks? and what's worse is that they were usually daily tracking polls done by foxnews' resident poller rasmussen. | |
