These campaigns are still to early to call. If I had to call it today it would be McCain vs. Obama.

No way to really call it yet. I am surprised Rudi has imploded so early though.

Rather like the funny underwear bit. Sounds kinky. Giving the Mormon church 10% would be a big let down for the Mormons. I'm sure their tax free status on earnings gives them more like 35%.

He badly misjudged the importance of Iowa and NH. His campaign strategy was very flawed.

Do you mean that in a cryptic sense? Like someone will take him out ala Kennedy style?

Spot on, CT.

Too early too call.

I've gotten some candidates wrong on both parties.

I think Romney is younger at 60, than McCain, who has had his chance.

Romney seems sharper in economics, also. Immigration, too.

But McCain has name recognition, and he may fair very well on Feb. 5th.

The FL primary results will be known to us when we wake up tomorrow morning. Polling seems tight (if we can trust the polls).

I wouldn't be surprised if he is taken out by one of those compassionate Christian fundies, hopefully in a suicide bombing, to show the world that terrorism is universal and not limited to Muslim fundies

What interested me however, was an article in yesterday's Sydney Morning Herald which said that the person you should be looking for - among the Democrats - is neither HC nor OB but Edwards. The reason why? He currently has 18 delegates and, subject to what happens on Super Tuesday, is almost certainly going to have enough delegates to make up any difference between the two. So, according to the SMH, either HC or OB could "lose" the primary, but so long as the offer JE a good enough carrot, could still win the nomination.

I love democracy in action
Democrats also use "super delegates" that have more power than delegates

I heard McCain talking at a rally and he said "my friends, my friends, we have had wars, we are in a war, and there will be more wars, there will be more wars..."

Really hope this guy doesn't win Florida; if he does he'll have proved himself a viable Presidential candidate and that's scary...

Would you rather have Romney? You will be attending services at your nearest Mormon Temple, wearing weird underwear, and abstaining from alcohol, tobaco, and caffeine.

You want that?

^ Mormonism is a CULT.

Freaks.

But if he keeps his kooky peudo-religion to himself, and can run a economy, fine.

We don't have many choices. Heck, look who we've had the last 8 years.

Fookin' shame.

Any of the Democrats are fine; anything is better than McCain or Romney. Guiliani seemed least offensive, and he's history.

No, I seriously know these people well. Lived among them for many years. They're kind of like that alien movie where they lived among humans disguised as humans, but eventually taking over everyone's body one by one.

Drastic, but seriously, Romney would stack the White House and Administration with Mormons to advance their agenda. They're the most clannish people I've ever seen.

McCain wins in Fla., Giuliani to quit

McCain wins in Fla., Giuliani to quit

By DAVID ESPO and LIZ SIDOTI, Associated Press Writers 6 minutes ago

MIAMI - Sen. John McCain won a breakthrough triumph in the Florida primary Tuesday night, gaining the upper hand in the battle for the Republican presidential nomination ahead of next week's contests across 21 states and lining up a quick endorsement from soon-to-be dropout Rudy Giuliani.

Knowing the sentiment of some of the right wing elite, I fear they would never ever allow a black to be their leader -- the lower-class blacks especially will have a field day with Obama as prez. The reverse racism and taunts would not be swallowed by the white elite -- I don't think they're ready and they
