Florida is next on Jan. 29th.

Clinton has a double-digit lead over Obama in FL, but I don't trust polls like I used to.

As said before, Feb. 5th, will give us a more clear picture - perhaps.

It may be longer before a nominee is known.

it's a meaningless vote.

Does this put Obama with a clear lead of delegates now over Clinton?

63-48.

but as MM keeps pointing out, it's still early and 2025 are needed for the nomination.

Thanks for the info on the no-delegates in Floriday, Ray.

You seem to be keen on Edwards.

If he fades out in a couple months do you see him as VP?

Ray, serious question: what do you think of Hillary? Not if you think she'll be the nominee, but if you like her policies and ethics.

Caroline Kennedy endorses Obama

Quote:
Sun Jan 27, 1:06 AM ET NEW YORK - The daughter of President John F. Kennedy endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, saying he could inspire Americans in the same way her father once did.

"I have never had a president who inspired me the way people tell me that my father inspired them," Caroline Kennedy wrote in an op-ed posted Saturday on the Web site of The New York Times. "But for the first time, I believe I have found the man who could be that president — not just for me, but for a new generation of Americans."
This could be an important symbolic victory for Obama as it could lead to more people identifying with the young, promising and smart Presidential candidate. Kennedy is held in iconic status in American public consciousness.

Who's "we"? My post was six hours before yours, that might explain your eventually hearing about it seemed like a pertinent post at the time.

^ There are no delegates in FL. They were taken away because FL moved the date up (thanks Ray).

Sorry about the sarcasm on your post, but your post was a 1 sentence post, and is definitely binnable.

Why the 1 sentence? What was the point of that post? One-liners are looked down upon here.

That's why I made my comment the way I made it.

As for JFK's daughter: who cares.

She is one voter. And her vote is just as relevant as mine.

It's not just one voter with JFK's daughter - she commands or should say symbolizes a 'brand' that some folks look up to.

Anyhow, Ted (the swimmer) Kennedy is preparing to come out in favor of Obama now too.

Rudy: Demise rumors are 'premature'

Well, you know what they say, once the rumors start it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy as nobody wants to jump on the bandwagon of a loser. Could be the beginning of the end for Rudi.

Quote:
By David Jackson, USA TODAY
ORLANDO — Rudy Giuliani has a message for those who doubt his floundering presidential campaign can survive.
"The rumors of my demise are premature," Giuliani told USA TODAY, paraphrasing Mark Twain's famous line.
Public opinion polls here show Giuliani, who has staked his White House bid on doing well in Florida, stuck well behind John McCain and Mitt Romney in Tuesday's Republican primary.

1) it was a simple idea, not requiring two sentences, and
2) it had just happened; I thought someone might like to know.

Is that simple enough for you?

Got all that?

Are they now. Since when? Are you using the Royal "We" again? Is this actually a rule on TD or just something you just made up? It's obviously the latter

Ok, from now on, if a candidate wins anything, "we" must post the results in at least two sentences just so no-one gets upset or confused...

The only person discussing your vote is you, whereas every network and everyone else is currently discussing hers; ergo, her vote is vastly more important than yours

From the above:

A vote is a vote. Who cares. Princess Caroline.

Guiliani is tied for 3rd in FL, and it doesn't matter. I think Guiliani will sink after Feb. 5th, and Huckabee is out of money and staff have left, and some are working without pay.

GOP will be McCain vs. Romney for the Nom.

Sorry for my comment on the one-liners. Sheesh.
