| Sundance is my bff | If the republican party can find someone sensible like Rudi Guliani to lead it, it has a chance. Otherwise, more Mormons and other shit will not lead it to victory against an Clinton/Obama ticket. I think Rudi would be a good president. I don't like Hilary at all, no way, no how. Obama is a good marketer, but low on substance. |

| Quite. The flag-waving, family values, god fearing patriots of the Republican party have quite a history when it comes to perversion, psychosis, and brutality. While working themselves up into self-righteous frenzies over such things as Bill Clinton getting a BJ in his office from some plump floozy (something few men I know would object to) they're oddly quiet about these people; Nicholas Elizondo, Director of the Young Republican Federation molested his 6-year old daughter and was sentenced to six years in prison. |

| Just a follow-up on the guy who had sex with a mule, here's a summary of the interview where he admitted it; "Last night, anti-abortion extremist Neal Horsley was a guest on The Alan Colmes Show, a FOX News radio program. The topic was an interesting one - whether or not an internet service provider should allow Horsley to post the names of abortion doctors on his website. Horsley does that as a way of targeting them and one doctor has been killed. In the course of the interview, however, Colmes asked Horsley about his background, including a statement that he had admitted to engaging in homosexual and bestiality sex. At first, Horsley laughed and said, "Just because it's printed in the media, people jump to believe it." "Is it true?" Colmes asked. "Hey, Alan, if you want to accuse me of having sex when I was a fool, I did everything that crossed my mind that looked like I..." AC: "You had sex with animals?" NH: "Absolutely. I was a fool. When you grow up on a farm in Georgia, your first girlfriend is a mule." AC: "I'm not so sure that that is so." NH: "You didn't grow up on a farm in Georgia, did you?" AC: "Are you suggesting that everybody who grows up on a farm in Georgia has a mule as a girlfriend?" NH: It has historically been the case. You people are so far removed from the reality... Welcome to domestic life on the farm..." Colmes said he thought there were a lot of people in the audience who grew up on farms, are living on farms now, raising kids on farms and "and I don't think they are dating Elsie right now. You know what I'm saying?" Horsley said, "You experiment with anything that moves when you are growing up sexually. You're naive. You know better than that... If it's warm and it's damp and it vibrates you might in fact have sex with it."" News Hounds: Bizarre Sex Habits of The Extreme Right-Wing |

| Blackgang, You probably didn't notice but in the list I gave everybody, except, possibly, the mule handler and Donald Rumsfeld, was a paedophile or child-abuser. I knew that some dimwit wouldn't notice that in his hurry to post an equivalent list for the democratic party. The point of the list is not to show that all republicans are bad, they're not of course, the point is to show that, with their constant talk of morality and family values, they're hypocrites. The people in that list have been some of the most vocal in their defence of family values, I suppose a close family gives them a better opportunity to rape their children What you have up there is the top Democrat 10 sex scandals in congress . Is that the best you can do? What I posted is a list of just some republican sex scandals. Show me an equivalent list of Democrat child-rapists. |

| For what claims to be the "Top 10 Democrats Sex Scandals in Congress" it's a pretty lame collection. 'Accused' seems to occur rather more regularly than 'convicted' or 'admitted'. And the shocking number 1? "testified in defense of nephew". |

| I am in Jail | AW Bullshit accused or arrested for--- don't count shit, I been arrested for everything from pissing on the street to attempted murder and I have no police record, never did have, one reason is because arrested or accused of does not mean you are guilty, I was always innocent and had the money to hire a good lawyer to prove it. |

| Has anyone heard the tapescript of the police interrogation?! They've been playing it over and over on CNN. Not many places in the world could a cop talk to a Senator like that! Good for him, he wasn't taking any shit from Craig, and it led directly to the guilty plea: Excerpts: Quote:

| The Gay Old Party Gets a Sitdown ![]() RIGHT WINGMEN Larry, Mark (inset) (Photos: Getty Images) It's not easy to be a maybe-gay Republican these days. You have to be stealth, soliciting affairs on the side while you publicly rail against same-sex marriage. You have a twink on the side, but a Bible in your hand, and there's always the chance you'll get caught. You are stuck between politics and, um, a hard place—it's a double life that rivals Bruce Wayne's. And then, you get exposed. Through careless IMs or public bathroom shenanigans, the whole thing comes toppling down like a house of cards, and no rainbow flag or conservative diatribes can save you from losing credibility with the gays and the GOP. So what can you do to save your image, gay Republicans? Inspired by the recent Senator Larry Craig mess, gay Republicans, you're in the PR/ER! Accept the fact that hypocrisy hurts Traub: "It's difficult to be a hypocrite in politics, and that's what's at work here. Being gay is immaterial and irrelevant. The problem is if you exercise hypocrisy in your policy positions and how you vote. Here's a guy [Craig] who has always stood up against the rights of gays and lesbians, and has supported a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. He has opposed efforts to give gays and lesbians equal protection under the law. He's been a leader on these issues. If he is gay, he is a complete hypocrite, and it is dangerous to get busted as a hypocrite in D.C." "If Craig is gay, which we are assuming but none of us knows, I think he's handled this incredibly poorly. Though I'm not sure how you come back from years of standing up and discriminating against fellow gay citizens and explain it away. What do you say? Sorry, I'm a self-hater? The American public can be very forgiving—I'm not sure about the Idaho public—but in order to gain forgiveness you have to seek it, and to do that you need to admit what you have done wrong. In the case of Craig, that was being a hypocrite. You have to accept the the responsibility for what you have done. A well-worn cautionary note in politics: The cover up is worse than the crime." "Craig should seek forgiveness. But what is he asking forgiveness for? For engaging in what is deemed lewd behavior? What he should really do if he is gay is come out and ask forgiveness for encouraging prejudice and hate against people who are just like him. He may lose a Senate seat as a result of it, but he will gain the respect of many others. Don't wait till your death bed to have a death-bed conversion."
