I think the Iranians and AQ are Bush appeasers. If they were really serious about their cause, they would bomb the shit out of the US with those special ops. But apparently they can't. Bunch of appeasers, I tell you.

Does Obama really believe this kind of message is going to work with Americans? He's sounding more like a bad Daily Kos post every day.
    Obama: 3000 Lives of Americans...Wasted!

    400,000 lives wasted in WW11
650,000 lives wasted in the Civil War

It is intended the Obama crash & burn. He is part of the Clinton machine, not an opponent. He is there to draw fire from the 'Pantsuit' and provide another platform from which Dubya and the Republicans can be attacked.

    Obama is an empty suit...

If I had to chose one word to describe your comments, "disingenuous" would be a good choice.

    How many are 'most'?
Perhaps just the ones with San Francisco Values?

    "the majority" perhaps?

No hair-splitting - we want cold, hard statistics here.
As I say, perhaps the 'majority' in places like SF & Santa Fe, NM but it's a big country...pal.

"From what you have seen or heard about the situation in Iraq, what should the United States do now? Should the U.S. increase the number of U.S. troops in Iraq, keep the same number of U.S. troops in Iraq as there are now, decrease the number of U.S. troops in Iraq, or remove all its troops from Iraq?

51% replied that the US should decrease or remove all troops.

"Do you favor or oppose sending more than 20,000 additional U.S. troops to Iraq in order to try and gain control of Baghdad and some other areas?"
    63 % oppose

"Which of these comes closest to your opinion? Congress should block all funding for the war in Iraq. OR, Congress should block funding for additional troops being sent to Iraq, but allow funding for troops currently there. OR, Congress should allow all funding for the war in Iraq."
53% responded that congress should block all funding or block additional troops.

"Can the U.S. military be effective now in lessening the fighting between groups of Iraqis, or is that something the U.S. military cannot do much about?"

67% replied that the US cannot do much about it.

    Iraq

i realize that my assertion is not asked directly in the above questions, but if and when these polling companies get the stones to ask a question like, "were the lives of those x thousand kids wasted?", it is highly plausible that the number will be well above 50%.

While the poll doesn't specifiacally ask about 'wasting' of lives in Iraq, the trend certainly indicates that the majority of americans would agree had they been asked.

    Iraq

would appear that most Americans are starting to hold San francisco values.
    There's hope for them yet.

english is not stroller's first language, but what's your excuse boonie?

here's a cold hard statistic.....in this context, 'most' and 'majority' are synonymous.

OK...but the subject is 'support for the troops' which means those brave men and women already there defending truth, freedom & the American Way.

your disingenuous nature is showing through again boonie.

from the very same post that you took the above quote...

"Do you favor or oppose sending more than 20,000 additional U.S. troops to Iraq in order to try and gain control of Baghdad and some other areas?"
    63 % oppose
