    The Snowdon Connection.

It was our 45th Wedding Anniversary last Saturday,
I took Flobo away for a short break.

Bodysgallen Hall is without doubt one of our most favourite places
to stay for very special occasions.

The Hall is beautifully situated on the side of
Pydew Mountain, the front looks towards the coast,
The Great Orme being visible on a clear day.

The original tower of Bodysgallen Hall dates back some
    seven hundred years or more.

The History associated with Bodysgallen is extremely deep.

The link I have placed here,
is coupled to an additional attachment
giving an amazing short guide of the
    history, well worth reading.

    History of Bodysgallen Hall

Despite the gradual addition of one wing, then another,
during a building history of 600 years, the whole house
is built in the same sturdy and conservative ...

    It is an amazing building.

This view was taken from one of the gardens.

A spectacular place to behold, an amazing place
    to celebrate a nice anniversary.
All the women take their blouses off
And the men all dance on the polka dots
    It's closing time !

This next photograph is of one of the outstanding lounges.

Roaring fires were blazing away from early
afternoon to the last guest retiring of an evening.

    The food was absolutely fantastic.

Bodysgallen is well noted for it's culinary expertise.

There were exclusive private lounge areas off each of the mains
if you felt the need to further relax in such outstanding serenity
    and beauty.

It was really wonderful to come into the Hall after a nice day out
in The Snowdon National Park, and relax with a very large hot Pimms
by one of the roaring log/coal fires.

    The Mountains were very special.

We were quite lucky that the Railway made it's first trip of the year
by steam or diesel up The Snowdon Mountain on the 19th March,
    our anniversary.

However, it was not possible to go to the very top,
there was thick ice still covering the tracks on the
    final section.

We had to stop a short distance from the peak.

The views from the high Mountain levels were incredible.

It was cold up there though.

We certainly won't forget this anniversary trip in a hurry.

It was a brilliant break all round.

    Very special.

    45 years mate.............Flobo deserves a medal.

Lovely mate and may there be many, many more years of you both travelling the countryside and bringing us your great experiences on film (so to speak).

    Congratulations.

This was one of the drives in the grounds of Bodysgallen.

Even though we are just leaving winter, the presentation of
all the garden areas was quite amazing.

Another drive leading into the woodland area connected to the Hall.

The orchard area with the dazzling show of daffodils.

    Absolutely above and beyond description.

A real pleasure to see and appreciate.

When we arrived at Bodysgallen, Flobo made herself comfortable
by the fire in the main lounge, ordered a nice pot of tea
    whilst I checked in.

As you can see, the lounge is very similar to the previous one I showed.

This one is on the ground floor.

    Beautiful room.

The door on the left of the photograph leads to the main
    dining room.

You can't really beat a good pot of tea for two.

I was quite lucky to get into the main dining room
prior to all the guests who had booked in for
lunch on the day we arrived.

It gave for a good photograph opportunity.

    Sensationally a very nice room.

    Set out perfectly.

The Daffodils were taken from the gardens.

    Everything looked exceptionally pleasant.

The weather was good, the room I had booked was
    all it needed to be.

    Very nice.
